Islam is well known for it's love of violence no doubt. But my point is Christianity has had its time with same, to an event worse extent I dare say. Islam is simply living a little in the past. I wonder why people still tag Muslims as Isis. If Isis is truely pro Islam, why is it that is is onky islamic countries it is attacking like Syria,Iran,Turkey,Jordan,Lebanon,Palestine, Northern part of Nigeria,Μali,Niger,Skmalia,Afghanistan etc but yet, despite Isreal attacks on this same Countries, IsIs has never atta ked Isreal nor condemned Isreal for attacking Islamic countries.

I was trying to tell you that the crusades were a reaction to Muslim control of the Holy Land. They were not a reaction to the conquest of Spain, never.

My bad if I said Muslims didn't encroach on Europe, they obviously did at several points but not in the context of what provoked the crusades, not at all.

Generally my point is that religions have always been associated with violence, it's just a question of times and places and cycles, so no need to try to says it's just one religion.

However certainly Islam of today is a present day problem.

Isleamic terorists captured Jerusalem, north Africa and some parts of Europe. The crusader was formed to take over the Christian populated areas captured by Islamic terrorists, including Jerusalem. So, what do you mean by "they traveled to foreign lands"? Were those "foreign lands" not earlier captured by Islamic terrorists before the Crusader was formed?

the crusades was during the middle ages, Christianity have since moved away from that, Islam is still neck deep on its extremism up til this very hour. There's nothing like missionary colonization, the missionaries didn't colonise anywhere, colonisation was not done in the name of Jesus but in the name of the king of England, same with the Trans Atlantic slave trade.
