With little google search you can find. It will intrest you to know that sokoto is being attacked from different fronts due to its proximity to Niger and Burkina Faso. The dreaded Bandit Bello Turji is operating in Sokoto state, lakurawa enters sokoto from Niger/Burkina Faso through Kebbi state. Sokoto is very easy target for them because they can attack and easily disappear into Niger republic thats why its becoming big challenge for our military. As a sokoto indigene i tell you for a fact that Sultan and our government has nothing to do with these atrocities and are very much concerned about bringing lasting peace to the region. Thousands of sokoto indigenes have lost there lives to these insecurity and millions displaced, we are at the brink of drowning and we welcome any assistance be it foreign or local that can bring a lasting peace to our communities.
