How Enugu Is Gaining From Collaborating With President Tinubu - Dan Nwomeh by Tabithatim(op): 7:14am On Jan 01
Dan Nwomeh Is The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Peter Mbah

I passed the Eke Obiangu Flyover at Emene this afternoon, now ready and completed in record time. One of the earliest gains of Enugu’s connection to the centre through collaboration between Governor Peter Mbah and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Once Governor Mbah took the bold step of dualising the federal road from the Airport Flyover to the Ebonyi State border, President Tinubu promptly approved funding for the Eke Obiangu Flyover to support the road expansion.

The notorious traffic snare that once made the junction a nightmare for motorists has disappeared. It is now a smooth, uninterrupted ride into and out of Enugu.

Kudos to Mr. President. Kudos to the Minister of Works, Engr. Dave Umahi. No president before PBAT has executed this scale of federal infrastructure in Enugu State.

Today, the Enugu–Onitsha Expressway is ongoing.

The Enugu - PH Expressway is ongoing.

The New Artisan Twin Bridges have been completed.

The Oji River - 9th Mile - Opi Federal Highway is ongoing.

Dualisation of the 9th Mile - Obollo Afor - Otukpo Road is ongoing.

And the Abakpa/82 Division Flyover has commenced.

Enugu, the headquarters of Ndigbo, is special to President Tinubu. And it shows in concrete, steel, and progress.

PBAT, on your mandate we stand!
Tomorrow is here

The poster is being disingenuous. Enugu is the headquarters of Ndigbo and they have been treated special by Mr. President. I am not blaming him. Its called smart work. Every region should do their own smart work too.

Lol. Enugu is firmly in the grip of Peter Obi. Mbah might win his re-election but Tinubu can't get much here.

P.S: All the stated projects were started by Late President Buhari. The projects have rather seen a slowdown in pace of work due to contract variations and paucity of funds under Tinubu. The finishings and quality of work under Umahi also leaves much to be desired. Click on the link and watch the video of the tarky flyover constructed. This shouldn't be a Federal government-tier standard.

The thing with political statistics is that you don't even need to win all the states or even majority states.

Nigeria has 36 states (37 in election matters) and you can win just 4 states and be declared winner. It is about getting the required spread and majority.

Last election, he didn't even win Kano and Lagos which has the most numbers
Re: How Enugu Is Gaining From Collaborating With President Tinubu - Dan Nwomeh by Mabuggi88: 7:26am On Jan 01
The writer and poster is astute by half. All these projects had all started before Mba even thought of defection and no much progress till now, even the Flyover at Eke obinagu, just the usual political work and stop strategy.
For instance, Every year since I started plying Enugu Onitsha expressway, there's always work on that Enugu/PH expressway and that Enugu Onitsha expressway, no completion.
Meanwhile, to the op What is the difference between Enugu Onitsha road and Oji River 9mile Road? Or you just want to multiply the number of projects? I just want to ask

You are correct. He won last election because the North contributed over 5m votes to him out of his total 8m votes. He didn't win the South. With his performance, it's hard to see him replicating such numbers in the North. The ADC is also now set to get the required spread across the South with the coming onboard of Obi. Whoever pulls the highest margin of votes will meet the requirements and end up triumphant. The destruction of the LP and PDP is beginning to look like a bad idea.

It is good to appreciate good work when you see one, opposition shouldn't make one envious or blind to the good work of incumbent government, kudos to PBAT and governor Peter Mbah..

God bless Nigeria....

Nigeria has not gained recognition because of him, and it's because of him that Enugu is gaining recognition...... ride on grin grin

Lol the way they are trying so hard to sell this druggy to the East... Bobo Chicago should forget south east and maybe some part of south south like Delta, Half of rivers and Cross river because the block vote there is in Obi's pocket

Exactly they don't know you just need to win 25% in each states. Tinubu already had 25% in lag and kano so he wasn't bothered

None of these developments were mentioned by those disgruntled, wandering politicians who gathered yesterday?

This guy can lie for Africa. The Eke obinago and Abakpa flyover long started before Mbah joined APC. The other projects were inherited projects from Buhari regime. How can some people be lying just in the name of politics. Enugu is Obi.

This is a valid point you have here, destroying LP and PDP is beginning to look like bad market for Tinubu. Mbah will likely win his reelection under APC because of his performance but I doubt he can convince many people to continue with Tinubu

So if you don join Tinubu's party, the Federal Government will abandon it's responsibility to your state.

Are these people not aware this is unconstitutional and an impeachable offense.

The president using the resources of the country to further his personal interests.

Imagine if Jonathan prioritized only South-South, South-East States during his term
