Actually this segregation of the genders has been in force for residents of Kano for decades. Back in the day I visited Kano and was baffled to see that some minibuses were marked with child-like paintings of women wearing masquerade costumes, to indicate that men who entered such buses that were reserved for women, could get locked up or have the crap beaten out of them by scary-looking Taliban men sporting horrid beards.

We really need to revisit the basis of the federation. We need to determine if we want to live together under one constitution, or devide into seperate countries under seperate constitutions. We can't continue to live as a country under 2 seperate constitutions.
