Happy new year to every Nairalander out there . 2025 was really a very tough year for many average Nigerians, including myself but thank God we were able to scale through. But just as the curtain of last year drew close,I sat down and thought about my life, generally. And one thing I realized, thought aloud about and asked myself was--"Do I have helpers at all?" . Like who do I call should troubles come knocking on my door?" "Do I have the kind of friends who can raise up to a million naira for me in times of emergency?". These questions, tho seemed rhetorical but they kept ringing in my head all through last night . In my own little way,I have been of help to my friends and family, especially those within my circle and they can attest to that as a fact. But should the table turn, would they be able to replicate such helps? Well,I don't think so coz the one and only time I got myself into trouble,I was abandoned and I felt how isolation feels like for the first time. So I think it's high time I reduced my circle to the minimal state of better still take myself off any circle that isn't beneficiary to me. So my fellow Nairalanders, who do you call upon in your times of need or troubles? Mynd44 Seun Dominique nlfpmod obembet. |

I was sick and almost dying 2 years ago. How I survived is by the mercy of God. Now, I am carefully building meaningful relationships because the ones I had failed me, except for two ladies. |

annayawchee:How many of the millions, if not billions, of the daily calls for help from around the world has he answered? As i'm writing this now, someone somewhere is either being unjustly killed, tortured or oppressed, and is calling for help. But, eventually, the evil-doer(s) will still succeed |
