Hoodrat:
The Alliance of Sahel States Sees Western involvement as “neo‑colonial interference”
The AES leadership publicly accuses Western governments of:
Exploiting resources, Undermining sovereignty, Supporting corrupt elites, Failing to stop terrorism

This narrative is highlighted in the analysis of AES “defiance” and sovereignty struggles which are all valid and clear as the day to the world. So they have the right to recompense the oppressors aura for aura .

If your wealthier brother bans your children from his house, is it not okay for you to ban his children from your house even if your house is a face me I slap you and even if he lives in Buckingham Palace?

With all Nigeria problems,I think I still like the fact that we are still a bit civil when it comes to international relations. What is the value of Mali,Nigeria and Bukina Faso to the US,Come to think of it,are their citizens not part of the problems Nigeria is grapping with when it comes to Insugency and Homelessness. I met one of them the other day a security man that says he is from Bukina Faso and another from Mali and that they are massive number of them but that all of them are claiming to come from Kano.Things like this are what the late sage Chuba Okadigbo called the "ranting of an Ant"

We are cowards and lack principle.

Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger are not economically marginal states. They possess significant reserves of gold, uranium, lithium, and other strategic resources and are central to the economic and security stability of West Africa. The long-standing instability and mass displacement in the Sahel are the result of decades of exploitation by corrupt local elites in collaboration with Western institutions, with extensive resource extraction and minimal reinvestment in local development.

The current military-led governments have been systematically delegitimized through media narratives that obscure this historical context. This shift in tone coincides with the termination of Western military presence and the dismantling of exploitative political and economic arrangements. The resulting hostility reflects the loss of external influence rather than genuine concern for regional stability.

Nigeria illustrates a similar pattern, where resource wealth primarily benefits entrenched elites and external financial institutions, contributing to insecurity, currency devaluation, and economic fragility. In contrast, leaders such as Captain Ibrahim Traoré represent a popular rejection of this model and an effort to restore sovereignty, redirect national resources toward domestic reconstruction, and end external dependency.

Judging these states without acknowledging the structural violence and exploitation they are emerging from misrepresents both their legitimacy and their trajectory.

Thank you for this intelligent comment.
You are spot on brother. It has become evident that population size alone does not translate into strength, courage, or resistance to oppression. Scripture itself warns against pride in numbers when there is no fear of God, for deliverance and national restoration are achieved by a faithful few, not by multitudes. History consistently shows that God saves nations through principled resolve rather than sheer demographic weight.

Nigeria exemplifies this reality. Despite its population of over 280 million, the state has demonstrated institutional weakness by aligning with oppressive economic structures and Western financial interests. The mismanagement of national resources in favor of external institutions such as the IMF and World Bank has contributed directly to widespread hardship, food insecurity, and severe currency devaluation.

This observation is not offered as a partisan attack on government, but as a sober assessment of a nation that has subordinated the welfare of its people to external economic control, thereby exposing the limits of numerical strength absent moral clarity and sovereignty.

I don't think any American will pray and fast for the visa ban to Mali and Burkina Faso to be overturned.

It's Africans that will be praying and fasting for US to remove visa ban for their countries.
Actually, many Americans will. Especially the ones who want to go and exploit their resources. You people really worship those whites!!! Tueh!!!

Hush!! Exploit which resources? Without the white people coming first, why didn't you drill the crude oil first?
It has to take a white man to get crude oil from your land.

Two irrelevant countries, even by African standards, buoyed by military pride and emptiness
They're irrelevant because their resources have been plundered by the whites you worship!

Nigeria is in this mess because these whites make sure only the worst and most corrupt of us hold the position of leadership here.

See the last election; Atiku, Bulaba and Obi are the worst that each region could produce. Yet they were the only options our corrupt system could offer.

The whites didn't discover it on their first arrival. They discover after decades. We too would have discovered it sooner or later. Even after a century.

Moreover, discovering something in someone else's home and taking over it is a most criminal act. That you're supporting this crime tells a lot about your personality.

We're not refusing to sell to them. But they want to buy at very terrible rates and even steal lots more without paying. Any government that refuses them will either be assassinated or suffer an orchestrated regime change.

That I'm sharing country with someone like you who sees himself inferior to another person is highly disturbing. It's people like you they pay some shekels and give access to all our resources.

Where is your dignity and honour as a man?
