Driver did not die. Unbelieveable but true he likely was wearing a seatbelt. The two that were on the road was the passenger seat occupants front and back. They were ejected because they did not have seat belt on. The one with the crushed head was crushed by other cars driving at top speed.

That driver was definitely driving at very very high speed.

It is this kind toddler mentality that have us in the situation we are today. There is one person responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle ...FYI ...the driver period. The vehicle was involved in a fatal accident .... he is the focus...he is given the DUI test ...he is asked for license and paperwork ...he is investigated. In this case ... he needs to be charged but since we can see the Police not providing his name we already know money is being passed to sweep this one under the carpet. This one can't...or there will be serious consequences for Tinubu and the Governor.

That Driver should be tested for drugs and alcohol in his blood...

It is within the mandate of the Nigerian police to arrest the driver and carry out necessary investigation in order to ascertain if he was not culpable directly or indirectly.

I learnt it was another car that was over speeding and recklessly overtook them that caused the accident.

He did receive hospital treatment as well.

What they're doing is part of their job. It's their duty to ensure road users follow highway codes NOT ONLY FOR THEMSELVES BUT NOT TO ENDANGER OTHER ROAD USERS. He needs to answer questions and if he's not responsible for the accident, definitely he'll be allowed to go home. But if he's responsible, he should be jailed to serve as a deterrent to other careless road users.

The occupants of the car too are culpable.

They should have pressured the driver to reduce his speed. He is being paid for the job so have power over him.

At times, you need accidents like these to jolt people out of their complacency.
