The worst thing to happen to my people in SE is to ever in this life align with SW
Any igbo who votes SW president has Kanu blood in his hands.
Our only partner without envy in your success is the north.I have lived with both region so I am saying it with 100% confidence
Hope you won't delete your account because I will drag you here when your Gbajue fail once again

Watch out brother, even your polling unit will be won by ADC come 2027. Tinubu knows that he is spent and losing hence he is combative with all opposition governors.
Let me give you this secret, of all PDP governors that deceived defect to APC, only Fubara is committed to APC, the rest are what we call bandwagon APC governors. Tinubu is now forcing Bala Muhammed in Bauchi, Mustang in Plateau and Kano governor to join APC, they will join, but will never be committed to APC on presidential elections.
Some, especially second term governors are just MOLES.
Did Fubara not go to Wike and declare "Wike is my leader, I cannot fight my lrader", tell me what is happening now, after regaining power. You can force govers to join APC, you cannot force them to coerce electorate. On the night of elections in the SS, the message will be passed, "Vote ADC for President, vote APC fir goveror".
Your post is senseless, no need replying you because you just type like who never vote in an election before

Hahaha 😂 Empty Barrels will always make the loudest noise, make I just dey wind u like toy soldier, keep living in the past, Tinubu dey Aso Rock, Aso Rock wey Tinubu dey inside, na wetin dey make your messiah Gringory Obi dey run from pillar to post Lp today, Adc tomorrow.

Make u talk, talk is cheap, it is good for Obi to dream, but the irony is that Tinubu is the person living Obi’s dream today.
Who has been crying since yesterday when obi made the announcement. Be proud of your region. The celebration in SE and SS has been massive since yesterday..lol

Don't forget I am not insisting that obi must be president. I said I am OK even with a stick if what adc presents as long as is not SW president that is president when u want to call out

Streetinvestor2:
Is it better for SW to hold it so you don't have an argument. The SE has no business being in same country with that region. You are gaining from it because we are servicing the economy of lagos states which benefits that region. Is it north that sentenced Kanu to prison and bringing igbo properties down out of envy.It this present government not only Yoruba president even if it is in the south. Abi u think we don't have sense and eyes
Keep shut and stop spewing nonsense this new year. 90% of Lagos economy is solely in the hands of SW people. Some Igbo have blended into Lagos system and they appreciate Lagos contribution in their lives. I just spend my new year day with one on my Igbo friend. He refined and very composed and don't display that timid and local empty chest many of your type display online.

Take it today, the only partway to Igbo presidency is through the SW, I know it is bitter to accept but that is the truth

Let me begin by congratulating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in advance on his victory in the coming 2027 presidential election.

I have said it repeatedly on this platform: the most realistic pathway to an Igbo presidency in Nigeria runs through a sitting South-West president.

Politics in Nigeria—especially when it comes to dealing with the North—requires careful calculation and deep understanding. The Northern political establishment is not easy to outmanoeuvre. With their long-held “born-to-rule” mentality, power is something they believe they are entitled to, and they are often willing to assert it forcefully.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s emergence did not happen by accident. It was the product of careful planning and political permutations by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Obasanjo understood the health challenges of President Yar’Adua and deliberately positioned Jonathan as vice president. Many within the PDP caucus were unaware of this long-term plan, but Baba knew that the time had come for the goose that laid the golden egg to also have a taste of power.

Today, history appears to be presenting another opportunity—this time in the person of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Why do you think many governors from the Eastern extraction are increasingly aligning with him? Tinubu understands the Northern oligarchy. He has dined and wined with them. He knows their strengths, their fears, and their pressure points. More importantly, he has learnt from the mistakes of leaders like Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Chief MKO Abiola.

Consider the political drama that preceded the 2023 elections. Tinubu played the game masterfully. After becoming president, did you see him repeat those theatrics? No. He had achieved his objective.

Even if Peter Obi had won the 2023 election, would he have been able to restrain the Northern power bloc and their entrenched interests—many of whom control instruments capable of sabotaging the economy? That is a hard question many refuse to ask honestly.

The reality is this: any Igbo man aspiring to lead Nigeria must recognise the moment and align strategically. This is not the time for political isolation or moral grandstanding. It is the time to learn from the man who knows the road—the man who understands who to align with, who to avoid, and how power is truly negotiated in Nigeria.

Politics is not driven by emotion; it is driven by strategy. And those who want power must first understand how it is won.
A great post, thank you for the lesson

I myself am personally rooting for either Prof Soludo or Bianca to be the first Ndigbo president.

My hope is both of them are mindful of the "ides of Obidients" and acknowledge that they don't need their rabid support to be President despite being from the same tribe. Obasanjo did it with Ndi Yoruba so not a new concept.

I pray and hope that those two, who we all know already have the capacity to lead our great and beloved country, find a way to tap into the strategic thinking of President Tinubu and leverage it to become our number one citizen at some point.

Personally, I would actually accept them taking over in 2027 if they can find a good political vehicle to do so as I am confident they will build on President Tinubu's gains. Political reality suggests there is a waiting period for President Tinubu to complete his second term whilst the North complete theirs.

We can wait for them and will do. May the Good Lord keep us all to witness that day when a truly new dawn will set on the country and one of them is inaugurated.

Once more. I thank you for the lesson, it is overdue.

Street investor keep deceiving yourself, u cannot even pretend that u have any joy in your life, let alone celebrating that Gringory Obi joined the ADC?

Drinking too much trophy, abi na hero beer is what is clouding your brain, purporting to make u merry, not any information about gringory cross carpeting.
Re: The Pathway To An Igbo Presidency by lawani(m): 11:46am On Jan 02
If Nigeria does not break up then someone from the SE will later become President. Igbos are not the only ones missing out. There are over 300 other ethnic nationalities and Hausa and Yoruba are actually much bigger than the rest hence the power that they have. The SE as a whole is lower in population than Lagos or Kano. NIN registration data says the SE is 80 percent of Lagos state and politics is a game of numbers. By using their numbers the NW and SW can actually bully others but in the long run everybody will have some
