I just find it very hard to understand a 3 in one God, believe me I have tried. I just don't Get it.

You are right all powers belong to God that is why Jesus could say:

“All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth" Matthew 28:18

If it belongs to Jesus then what is the essence of giving him in the first place?

So it's evident that the one having all the power allowed Jesus to rule for a period of time and that time is limited as Jesus must return what was given to him! 1Corinthans 15:27-28🙂
