Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, of orchestrating the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) terrorism financing charge against his Commissioner of Finance.

Speaking on Channels TV on Thursday morning, Governor Mohammed alleged that Wike had previously threatened to “put fire” in Bauchi State and claimed he was manipulating institutions, bribing officials, selling lands, and using these channels to advance his operations.

“He is behind the EFCC terrorism financing charge against my commissioner of finance,” Bala Mohammed said. “He controls all these institutions, bribes people, sells lands, and uses it to carry out his operations. Wike is a terrorist.”

The governor also accused his former Accountant General of collaborating with Wike, acting as a witness in the EFCC case against his commissioner.
