Kukutente23:See Nwosu defending what he has zero knowledge about 😂😂 Do you even know where Bodija is ? How much is the whole circular road Makinde is constructing in Ibadan that he would be needing 30 billion for a street road inside Bodija ?? If not that today is the first day of the year, I would have said you typed like you have a single digit IQ🫤 But I don’t expect much from a paid hack sha |

EponObi:Supplement kee this zombie Did you even read the Op? He has spent 24bn from state govt and he detailed how it was spent yet you want him to spend another 20bn to augment what the FG approved and failed to complete in 2yrs And you really believe you're making sense Where is the remaining 20bn from FG? When will you ask FG for transparency for the 20bn they failed to remit to the state for 2 yrs running Zombies sha |

You need to learn. It's emergency fund that is OBLIGATED by the constitution. It's not a political giveaway. Please use Google at least or keep shut VanuatuWycombe: |

WesleyPepper:Where is Bodija? Have you been to bodija in your life? The Tinubu that approved 50bn for the road is not a problem abi Where's the remaining 20bn Makinde has shown us where his own 30bn is and it's safely kept in the custody of the state govt Tinubu should show us where the 20bn is after 2 yrs |

Why did the FG not deposit the full amount appropriated at the federal level. That's some corruption going on at the federal level. They did not give explanation for giving 30billion instead of 50billion that was officially approved. The governor has done the right thing. FG should show transparency EponObi: |

Kukutente23:Rounding computer charges. Ask people handling Impersonal Accounts reconciliation in CBN or with CBN, when such transfer was made. It’s what I did when I was working in bank. How I wish someone at CBN, Ibadan Branch can come out to verify this. Even at FBN level, if the state has opened it with a rounded figure, it can’t remain exactly N30B. Let them show us which other state government account is taking charges on this newly opened account. How do they reconcile such accounts? They only used this revelation to bamboos us. This statement could be run in a dummy mode of the bank Flexcube or whatever software is being used. It may not be from a production (life) environment. It could also be Oluwole too. Why wait till 31/12/2025, before running it? It should have been run the day they admitted 30b was transferred, with a mandate that allows any member of the public to access the account at any of FBN branch. |

Kukutente23:Lmaoooo. Again, if the FG no commit or give am shishi, make him leave the roads in their ruins. You all keep saying shit as if it's the FG core responsibility. The entitlement! It was called intervention fund for a reason. As FG don give am 30b naira, make him leave the road unconstructed like a spoilt brat waiting for the remaining 20b. He said someone in the government asked for a bribe; he didn't name the person also. Lmaoo. Like I've said, he keeps digging when he's already under. |

You are the ignorant one bro. The rebuilding of more than a hundred high end houses and a couple of industries, roads, compensation for dead and alive victims. Half of circular road will gulp not less than 200billion in 2026 budget. I live in Ibadan. You may choose to paint all Governors black but Seyi Makinde stands out in the eyes of his people. If you have any valid claim and evidence against him, step forward WesleyPepper: |

VanuatuWycombe:You've not made any sense You can clearly see that the money was transferred fro FG to the account and the account is current and for a current account holder, there are no charges. So tell me the charges your bank places on your current account let me learn No time for long grammar |
| Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by chicfarmer: 11:44pm On Jan 01 |
Kukutente23:So you no know say you can execute road project in phases? Okay, what if the balance is not released until his tenure expires? Will he return the money to FG? Who lose then? As he requested for 100bn and 50bn was approved, wasn't he going to accept what was approved? In the same way, the smart thing to do na to apply the 30bn that was released to critical areas of the rehabilitation while awaiting the balance. So if this matter no burst open like this na so e for dash the 30bn to bank indefinitely. Do you know how much bank done make so far from that money? Makinde no use him head for the matter at all. I no dey defend nonsense abeg. |

JOLLOFman:It’s not obligated. Get your facts straight. Show me proof where it’s obligated. Share when it is written in our constitution that FG is under compulsion to pay such. Show us such special intervention account being kept by FG, on behalf of all our 3 tiers of government. The one opened by GEJ as Excess Crude Account for special intervention was notified by court and state governors forced GEJ to share what’s in it. |

Now that it has been provided, go and access it. Get anybody wey u know for central bank to ascertain the figures. Mr "it could also be" , you are sure of nothing. If you are interested in the truth do your findings. You will still come back ignorant cause you never actually can prove what you wish was true. Seyi Makinde is a different politician. | Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by Kukutente23: 11:50pm On Jan 01 |
chicfarmer:If he had spent the 30bn, zombies will accuse him of looting He has done the right thing by not touching the money till the payment is complete. Let FG complete the payment. The money was approved 2yrs ago. Why hasn't payment for an emergency been completed in 2yrs This is same way same FG announced they were giving states 5bn for palliatives of subsidy removal only for it to later emerge they released only 1.8bn for each state and then told them to come and take a loan of 3.2bn to complete the 5bn. This is a thieving FG we're talking about here So what if Tinubu is not reelected in 2027, what happens to the remaining 20bn? At least we've seen where the 30bn is now |
| Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by JOLLOFman(m): 11:50pm On Jan 01 |
It's not a "disaster relief" aunty. Try to read. It's tagged as an emergency fund for the rebuilding of Bodija and its environs RealityKings1: |
| Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by VanuatuWycombe: 11:51pm On Jan 01 |
Kukutente23:You are the one that’s a d um b arrss. After it has been transferred by FG, it has become FBN’s duty to charge whatever statutory deductions and other bank charges it must. The account is not reported to be frozen, immediately after the money was deposited and unfrozen on 31/12/2025, when the statement was ‘printed’. A lot of you only imagine things. You don’t have the experience. Don’t try to be rational. Quite me anywhere: you can’t leave 30billion in a commercial bank for a year and still have the exact 30billion, when running your account balance after a year. |
| Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by VanuatuWycombe: 11:53pm On Jan 01 |
JOLLOFman:Let him provide a mandate that anybody can go and check it. He only said that by word-of-mouth. He knows no bank will allow that. Let him publish a mandate in popular dailies that we can access that account. |
| Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by Kukutente23: 11:55pm On Jan 01 |
EponObi:The FG abandoned Oyo-Iseyin and Ibadan-Saki roads. Makinde fixed it. The signposts he put there while fixing the road are there till today. Iwo road is FG infrastructure. He fixed it as well Tinubu as state gov refused to fix Oshodi expressway. He left it as an eyesore Today, you're accusing Makinde who has been fixing federal roads in his domain while excusing Tinubu who hasn't accounted for 20bn and 3.2bn x36 which he announced as palliatives but never gave the states Are you sure you're normal |

Bro, check the Fiscal responsibility act2020. Don't fill this place with ignorance. State have the right to seek intervention fund to cushion the effect of crisis such as this. It's not a political largesse. VanuatuWycombe: |

Kukutente23:Ask lawyers and bankers about Duty of Secrecy, on bank accounts. Ask chartered bankers too or banking students. FOI is not applicable to bank account balances. If it’s applicable, it means we can see every other government accounts, at will. |

I am surprised no one spoke about this. How do you put 30b in an account for over a year. And the amount remained the same. No transaction charges, no monthly service charges and more importantly, no accrued interest. This account should have between 32-34b resident in it at the moment. Yesyoudidit: |
| Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by EponObi(f): 12:04am On Jan 02 |
Kukutente23:Nah! You are the one out of your depth. You lack comprehension because the post wasn't directed to you. Seek the explanation from Seyi why he's feeling entitled to a fund he went to Abuja to request; a fund that's isn't the legal right of his state. If you requested... Read well before running kitikiti to reply with answers without head or tail.. If you "REQUESTED" for 50b naira as intervention fund and you were given 30b naira, why is your benefactor being accused? The FG didn't appropriate 50b. Seyi Makinde REQUESTED for 50b. The FG gave him 30b. Whoever requested for a bribe at the Federal level should be named, else, it's all fugazzi to cover up the attempted fraud and look for an escape route from the silliness and ridiculousness of keeping 30b that was GIVEN to you as cushioning effect in a private bank for 1 year. If you can't still see the entitlement, I can't help you. Again, the FG didn't promise or appropriated 50b to Oyo state. Seyi requested 50b, the FG gave him 30b. Understood? And again, can you speculate how much FBN made using the 30b for their operations in the last 13 months? If I'm to guess, I'd say they made nothing less than 20% profit. 😋 Soft work! |
| Re: Bodija Explosion: FG's ₦30bn untouched, ₦20bn yet to be paid - Oyo Govt by JOLLOFman(m): 12:06am On Jan 02 |
Man, comprehension is an issue for you, I can see. It's stated in the op that the intervention fund was received almost a year after the incident but still not full as approved federally with no explanation. But the STATE GOVERNMENT HAS SPENT ITS OWN MONEY to compensate victims and rebuild Bodija and its environs. According to them, 24billion has been spent already. chicfarmer: |
