The one thing I hate about Obi is his inability to make anything formidable but will always want an already cooked meal.
If he can't solve party problems, it makes me fear if he can solve our big Nigerian wahala.
APGA...he ran.
PDP...he ran.
LP... he ran.
No in ADC.
Does it mean he will leave the presidential villa if there is a national issue to sole (if elected the president)?
Just my thoughts.

Stale phrase from sore losers..

2023 elections was one of the best elections after 1993 and Tinubu that wasn’t holding any government position won. He’ll win again in 2027..

Winning elections has never been Tinubu’s problem..
You are talking like obidients
You provided no factual basis for saying tinubu will win
The facts say he cannot win against an atiku and obi combination
Thats what the numbers say
Tinubu isnt a god please

My own opinion is that the governors are even more important than the president in changing the lives and improving the welfare of citizens. There is serious problem because most of this governors are 100x more greedy than Tinubu.

Utomi has no political weighty such that when he withdraws his support from PO ambition. Nothing will be affected

Ameachi has a far better chance of grabbing the VP slot than Obi

History has shown VPs barely have any impact in the country affairs
So if Obi runs as VP, the focus should be on the quality of person running as president and if the person is promising with regards to the progress and prosperity of the country
With your argument of VP not having impact. How come dey are saying Atiku sold Nigeria. How did he has that control over what should be sold and what should not be?

Running as VP is his only road to presidency and that is what he should've done in 2023 instead of allowing Tinubu to used him to divide PDP's vote. Moreover, he's still young compare to Atiku.
You nailed it gbam. The mistake Obi made was that he was in a hurry to become president and refused to be vice to Atiku. Age was still on his side and if he had waited for Atiku to complete 2 terms, he could be next after him. The two of them would have easily displaced Tinubu and won in 2023, but his hurry cost both himself and PDP the presidency.

How did SS vote in the last election? T-pain still carried almost 30%, now imagine him with the full power of the presidency and INEC, you're cooked!

The real fight is in the North, if he maintains status quo by splitting the North with Atiku, nobody can defeat him!
full power of presidency and inec equates rigging. Offcourse that has always been the hope of APC.

That’s the reason Obi joined ADC. It’s fire to fire now

Atiku's best chance was in 2019 presidential election but Buhari and his cohorts rigged him out.

Funkyswagzz:
Anybody who says obi is desperate is definitely a tinubu supporter. I wonder why you always use corner corner to come out. Ain't you proud of tinubu achievement. He is building coastal highway, including the tax
There's no corner corner here. Obi is worse than Tinubu.

That has always been the reason for all political parties since 1999, OBJ did it, he also did it for Ya'rdua and GEJ. Buhari did it and so did T-Pain, this is 9ja politics.....They are all f*ckin RIGGERS!

But Tribalism is what makes them to fixate on presidency.

Once their kinsmen is not the president, they will forget totally about their governors and start attacking the president

obj did partially well the masses didn’t bother to protest.
Buhari didn’t do well but the north let Tinubu to win because they indirectly thanked him for helping Buhari

Right now all the masses re against Tinubu, just like they were against Gej. Obi saw the only way to wrestle power from Tinubu is by ADC help. Do you think ADC are not prepared?? Coupled with the full anger of the masses.

It wouldn’t be easy with Tinubu sincerely. I laugh when Tinubu supporters are hoping on SS votes🤣🤣. Thats how delusional they are.

You guys just make assumptions then conclude on the assumptions. Your voices are louder than your actions. And when a person's voice is too loud he fails to hear others and save himself on time. Same mistake of 2023 is about to repeat next year.

If you don't know, the reason everyone seems to be on your case is because others are not as loud. Atiku was very professional about his defeat whereas Third Place Guy repeatedly claimed he won even when he couldn't defend himself in court. And you his supporters are some of the most unruly set of supporters ever, even worse than football fans, ever ready to insult anyone whose opinions seem to differ. With this kind of fanbase there's no way he'll win any election whether as VP or P.

Political neophytes!! You mustn't have it your way. In Nigeria's treacherous Political terrain, you have to crawl for people to make way for you at the top. The same happens in corporate world. You have to tow the path for those at the top to make way for you. It's not by "gragra".

This was the same way Obi was hyped in 2023, despite standing a good chance to win the presidency with Atiku. His supporters, including Utomi, felt that Obi was invisible. I will continue to say it: Obi's chances to the presidency would have been through Atiku in 2023. His supporters have started again with their "do or die" attitude that it must be Obi or nothing.

Obi should not allow some of his supporters to harm his chances of claiming Political power. As they say, power is negotiated and not a birth right. You have to negotiate and wrestle for it. Nobody hand it over to you without a contest. I don't know how Obi and his team are building the necessary contacts to win the primaries, which is the first huddle. If he loses, he should consider teaming up with the winner for the general elections. You don't chicken out because it didn't go your way. Moreover, he has lost considerable level of momentum he had in 2023.

He is contesting the presidency against a formidable opponent, with incumbency power under his belt. The odds are already stacked against Obi. His utmost concern should be how his new party will win and not his personal interest. In Nigeria's politics, nobody is a Saint. Not even Obi. Why is Utomi behaving as if Obi has the magic to fix Nigeria? They should be more concerned about the strategy on how to win the general election.

I wish Atiku will enter so your eyes can clear that Tinubu is faaaaaaaaar better than either obi and Tinubu. I knew it from the start that all your support for obi before was just hatred for tinubu. Shebi we saw the thread where all of una dey swear for obi when he was governor. Now it's Atiku you are praising again. All because of hatred for tinubu/Yoruba 😁😁😁😁 You will lose again

President or Vice President, it will still end in defeat!

It’s practically worthless to withdraw support from someone bound to lose at both instances!

Pat should know that, with or without his support, Peter's loss at the polls is guaranteed like the morning sun.
If election is free and fair,Obi will win .. Since Apc controls the Inec and supreme Court,Apc candidate will always win
Not now that they have bought all the state governors. Opposition has got 0 chances,ADC,LP and PDP combined, can't win Tinubu as it stands now..

Free and fair election any living thing both goat and fowl will win Tinubu

Tinubu kuku no be living thing he’s just a useless certificate forger parading around
Can you please educate us on why the Atiku-Obi PDP combo failed to win Buhari seven years ago despite APC's failure in the first four years of their extreme poverty shege that was fraudulently sold as change huh

socialmediaman:
The 2018 Rating by Transparency International placed Nigeria at 148th position out of 180 countries. Nigeria was improving over the years under the previous government, until Buhari got elected as president, things became worse.

There is a difference between fact and fiction. We need to face facts, Buhari is worse than GEJ when it comes to fighting corruption, at least that’s what the facts prove.

Most of us believed there was corruption under Goodluck Jonathan’s Government. I agree with those who did, there was corruption, but not as bad as it is today under Mohammadu Buhari.

In 2012, Nigeria was placed at 139th position, In 2014, Nigeria gained 3 steps and was placed at 136th position. Under Buhari, Nigeria has lost many positions down to 148th.

There’s no further proof needed that corruption has worsened under Buhari’s government compared to previous years.

Tinubu is the northerner who brough us here by ending 16 years of PDP widespread prosperity with high employment productivity in 2015.
Period!!!

Tinubu swapped all that for APC's extreme poverty shege that was fraudlently packaged as better change for Nigerians, using his expired Buhari of four years earlier. What has changed for better in our country since 2015? Name just one thing please.

Tinubu rules out alliance with CPC

Prospect of a possible alliance between the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, was dashed yesterday in Kano as the leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu described CPC as parading “expired leadership.”

Tinubu told ACN supporters in Kano during the party’s Presidential rally that: “What Nigerians need now is a transformation in leadership” as obtained in the advanced economy.

The two-term Governor of Lagos State explained that the leadership of ACN was offering Nigeria the brilliance of Nuhu Ribadu who, he said, is in the class of Nicolas Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain, Medvedev of Russia and Barack Obama of the United States of America.

“What has CPC got to offer? We certainly don’t need expired leadership as we are offering the best in terms of brilliance, courage and patriotism in the class of Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain and Barack Obama of the USA.”

Tinubu’s position came on the heels of Ribadu’s declaration penultimate week in Kaduna when he hinted during a political rally of a joint ticket between the two opposition parties to confront the dominance of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The national leader of ACN criticised President Goodluck Jonathan for shying away from the national debate held last Friday, stressing that”that singular act exposed Jonathan as a coward who has nothing to offer.”
