Ilekokonit:1. People like you are better off remaining in Nigeria where your particular mentality can only work. 🥱🥱🥱 You disrespected his 20-something-year-old sister and felt that your 30-something-year-old, her brother, should have taken your side in this? I can only imagine how much you must have done for him to feel such a reaction was reasonable in this situation. ![]() 2. Always looking to blame every other person instead of maybe doing some self-reflecting and taking accountability for the part you played in fueling such animosity in your own children towards you. Na wa oo! 🥱🥱🥱 I hope that the boy does not debase himself to your level and instead considers going no contact instead if he is that angry with you at this point. 🥱🥱🥱 |

I can’t take this poster serious. Some years back, you claimed you were Jamaican who used a name which was coincidentally Nigerian. Today, you have a 30 something and 20 something year old child. How old are you again, late 50 something? I’ve known you to troll this forum repeatedly. This topic is you being yourself once again. Ilekokonit: |

Na with 2 comments wey I don report now I take confirm that Nairaland has a high proportion of borderline lunatic people (men and women) who just because you want other people to learn from your experience they decide to either cook up stories about you doubting your story or your age or by being outrightly rude unnecessarily maybe because of their own personal frustrations as an ageing single frustrated woman in America or because they are not intellectual enough to know that not every one needs to hide behind lies or fabricate stories to feel relevant. Talk of spreading your pearl before swine. To avoid further stressing myself by coming back to talk with swine, I will delete my personal story 'cos it's not worth my while. |

Nairaland used to fun, with lots of interesting topics, even job opportunities. Tribalism has always been there but not with this much hatred |

Ilekokonit:Bros, you are not new here na. Why will you allow some people insane comments get to you?? As par the issue you are going through, please take it easy on yourself. They are both adults now. You can only advise them, you cannot live their life for them What I see very deep in this is that you are not in good relationship with your children. That's why they will travel to Nigeria without telling you. That is a big thing you should work on. Start looking for ways to improve this relationship, irrespective of the situation between you and their mother. The children are your family, your blood and you must make sure you enjoy close and good relationships with them. By the way, drinking and going to bar is not a solution to this. Look for your good friends to speak to, about it to lift up your spirit and work on your family relationship. |
