That's one of the biggest problems about dividing Nigeria is the multi-billion-dollar investments they have spread across the country. A breakup would likely mean sacrificing or losing access to many of those assets. The loudest voices pushing for separation are mostly from the youth, who have far less personal wealth or property at stake.
