North and south Nigeria can no longer live in harmony and it's clear to see. It's time we all have a referendum to split Nigeria into 5 or 6 countries. We would agree to share the oil revenue for the next 15 years because, we have been together for 60 plus years. The 15 years will allow the individual countries enough time to build the necessary infrastructures it needs to survive, like major roads, ports, power stations, international airports, new smart well planned capital cities, etc. Also the south south will get the lion share of the split oil revenue, but after the 15 years elapses, no more oil sharing . Each country should finally now rely on their national resources and human capital etc. This will foster competition and development and it's the way to go as no one will feel left out or marginalised. We should share the same independence day of 1st Oct for the individual countries. Everyone would be happy. Our descendants will forever thank us. God bless 🙏🏼

Talk is cheap, the problem is with the Constitution of Nigeria which is embedded with the indisolubity clause which makes it extremely difficult to alter unless amended by act of the National assembly nothing can happen. Remember General Gowon said that the territorial integrity and unity of Nigeria is a task that must be accomplished. No responsible government will ceade an inch of its territory on the alter of separatism. Check out the Ambasonia agitations in Cameroon, the Cameroonian government are not handling the separatist agitations with kid gloves. Take note that the strongest part of a chain is it's weakest point, our ethnic diversity is our strength. Finally the issues of marginalization, geopolitical inbalance in terms of states in the six geopolitical zones, more federal presence in terms of infrastructures in the south east can be handled by your reps at the legislature IMO

The south south will NEVER go on any journey with the south east because they don't have any serious reason to and they will not like to be SLAVES to the south east. South East have their plan and trying to force the south south to join them in something they know nothing about will produce automatic failure.
