Honestly, this sets a very wrong precedence. It means 'rule of law' is just a sham within the international system (practically, this has always been the case with US antics). US can go into any attack it's government and change it at will with no consequence. Iran will be next now...after Iran, who next? Sadly, wherever the US intervenes, the aftermath has always been chaos and bad leadership. More like from frying pan to fire.

Venezuela has one of the world's largest oil reserves. Having control of it will help USA keep the petro dollar intact . In fact watch how dollar will gain value after the 11 am press conference .

Now that said , this is where russia ans china can show their strength . They should deploy military assets into Venezuela. Lets see what will happen .

Firstly, I do not support the illegal violation of foreign sovereignty unless there are compelling reasons to do so.

That said, Nigeria is not out of the woods yet. Much will depend on whether those controlling the Nigerian military finally provide their soldiers with the necessary equipment and authorization to fulfill their statutory duties.

If the current wave of violence, abductions, and religiously motivated killings of Christians continues, not only will the stage be set for foreign intervention, as recently threatened by the Israeli Prime Minister, but social uprising and/or a coup d'état will also become likely in Nigeria.
