seunmsg:Who would have thought that we would see the day when the arrogant, lying merchants would quake in their boots?. Christmas came early again. We wholeheartedly welcome Alhaji Kwankwaso and his red cap chiefs to the ADC. In the current circumstances, this is undoubtedly the most sensible option for Kwankwaso. The idea that Atiku is a religious extremist is utter nonsense. He married Yoruba and Igbo women. Una never see anything yet. ![]() |

Orlandoo:The funniest comment I have ever read on nairaland politics section. Igbos vote on performance but vote for Ikpeazu twice? Chimaroke Nnamani twice? Peter Obi twice in spite of criticism? Oga pack one side. How many governors have lost second term bid (on ballot) in the SE since 1999? If you can compare that to other regions in the country then then you will see which section of the country truly vote for candidates based on performance. |

AMINDA:Elections are not to be determined by whatever happens in the last election. Everyone in Nigeria now knows where and what they wanted so the issue of the 3 of them being 2nd, 3rd and 4th not applicable anymore. Talking now is a new strategy for all of them and it's about governors, assembly members, other parties Decampings to APC and a sitting president is a political master in Nigeria. VS Atiku still carry his curruption baggage, Obi's Obedient remains only SE people now that he is well know to have no idea of governance, Kwankwaso is divided, ADC is not a national party, Legal issues etc Once INEC opens floor. Then parties will start primaries and then calculations starts. With Atiku or Obi as Candidate, Tinubu will still have seriously upper hand as the north can not support OBi. |

AMINDA:Tinubu with 28 sitting governors,72 sitting senators and 242 members of house rep. on his side couple with the power of incumbent and with many other lives he has touched through many of his social interventions against politicians without any political offices,2027 will surely be an interesting one. |

phemray:If we have to go by your strategy, a state like Lagos should have been won by Tinubu, since virtually all the elected members are from APC. It seems some of you don't take to congnizance the impulse of the citizens. Mr. Man, when the real game begins, everyone of them will fight to survive and not fight for another man's survival. And who told you that the north won't support Obi? You people should just continue deceiving yourself, when the power play begins, some of you will go to hiding. If by rigging I cannot say but on the real voting, the performance of Tinubu will take center stage and not the rhetoric of one region or the other won't vote for someone. Again, no doubt, the next general elections would be monetise but they should be ready to bribe over 100m people of voting age. |

kpakpakpa:Let Gov Peter Mba and deliver Enugu to Tinubu before 10am on election day. Your eye go soon clear. Why didn't all the APC Governors deliver their states to Tinubu in 2023. Even the almigt Elrufai couldn't... Be deceiving yourself |
| Re: Rabiu Kwankwaso In Talks to join ADC - ThisDay by phemray(m): 3:16pm On Jan 03 |
IfnobeGod20:Oga, Lagos State was won for Obi by Christians as churches openly ran crusade in support of Obi against Muslim Muslim. Nothing more, otherwise see the gap at the governorship election against LP and PDP Anyway, am so confident that most well meaning Nigerians appreciate Tinubu performance so far on economy with no single state today owing salaries and servicing Thier debts conveniently. You may not understand, that masses expectations of everything being cheap or free or picking money on the floor without working for will never happen in no matter who becomes president. The fact that Atiku and Obi has no track record of bold achievements in governance will Never help them to presidency . Atiku and Obi has decamped to more than 4 parties with no single one to be referred to as Thier own they co-founded or build. Talking about rigging, how do u described Obi 98% Vote in 5 States of South East in 2023.? |
| Re: Rabiu Kwankwaso In Talks to join ADC - ThisDay by Penguin2: 3:20pm On Jan 03 |
AMINDA:Lol! It’s win win for them. With Abba Gida Gida defecting to APC, they neutralize opposition in the governorship election as Kwankwaso will ensure that no candidate of consequential standing emerges in ADC to constitute a threat to Abba. It’s a good call from Kwankwaso if that’s what they did. |

yomi531:Okay, Yomi. Just do you. No-one will force you to do what you don't want to do, Yomi. Goodbye, Yomi. The handles of most of you pushing this position seem to all come from one region. Seems suspicious. Have the APC bots been unleashed? |
| Re: Rabiu Kwankwaso In Talks to join ADC - ThisDay by IfnobeGod20(m): 3:43pm On Jan 03 |
phemray:Let me first ask you this question. How many people are you feeding, either under your roof or elsewhere? If you're a breadwinner, you won't call this harsh economy better. The purchasing power of the people had increased beyond measure. What you buy 1k four years ago, you now buy between 4k to 5k. The price of goods and services have crippled people income. Meanwhile, you claimed Obi won Lagos because Christian leaders openly led crusades in support of Obi against Muslim Muslim ticket. Please can you show me and the world one of the crusades led by the so called Christian leaders and their names. I don't know why you people like lying just to place religion tag on Obi but forgetting that it was Tinubu and his party that openly and secretly campaign on religion inclination and even called their ticket jihad that must be fulfilled. They even went mobilising bishops to the unveiling of their VP and attending different mosques. Oh! I forgot, Tinubu and his party have two heads and can do and undo. As I always ask, which track record does Tinubu has in governance. Tinubu successors records are what you people brandishing about. Lagos has been a peculiar state for ages, even if Yahaya Bello is made the governor of Lagos he would still fair better. As Utomi will put it, Lagos State does not require people of two heads to administer it. Please can you list names of politicians of note that have never decamped to another party before? Who amongst our politicians have strong political ideology in Nigeria? Stop this your usual lie. Obi never got 98% in SE. Meanwhile, SE have been voting people with the same pattern. They did for OBJ, did for Yar'Adua, did for Jonathan, did Atiku. Please what do you expect when their son on the ballot? They should vote another person, even when they are seriously yearning for place on the national scheme. Please be wise for once. I do believe if they still have the opportunity, they would give their son a 100% vote for national inclusion. |
