A southerner winning ADC ticket is the fastest way to return Bola Tinubu in 2027.
The North does not have any incentive to vote for a new southerner(that may want to do 8 years-because it will be his/her rights to do 2 terms). And thinking the North will be comfortable with and agree to "he will do just 1 term" narrative is the biggest joke of the century.
I hope the ADC crew know what they are doing, this is politics, its a game of numbers. Its a selfish game. Power needs to be captured first, before u start talking about arrangement or order of things.

To win the presidential election in Nigeria, you have to win one of these states, just one minimum. Kogi, Kwara or Niger. This has been true for all presidential elections held in Nigeria. Obi did not win any of them in 2023, he came a distant third. And come 2027, he will never win a single one of these 3 states. This is the simple fact of the matter. His supporters can cry later.

Even the South East delegates will vote for Atiku when they see dollars. In Nigeria politics, delegates are trained and sent to convention to bring home money, and when the time comes, they have to do likewise or be replaced by another person.

How?, he knows he can't win if some certain political heavy weights in the North doesn't support him. Obi is weakened in the south, he will not have as much votes in the south as he did in 2023. Even in SE states(because of the greed of the governors that cross carpeted, ofcourse he will win SE states but his numbers will reduce compared to 2023), so where is the other place available to make up for that reduced strength -The North.
Now let's look at the North. If Atiku(or another strong northerner) is not on the ballot and the north has a choice to make between Obi and Tinubu, the North will go APC way for 4 possible reasons(sadly dirty reasons)-
1. There is no incentive to queue behind Obi(who will have a constitutional right to do 8 years after Tinubus 4 years, the north dont play with power like that, even when its not their turn they want power at all cost)
2. Tinubu has better reach in the north, associates, people that have benefitted from him and wants to repay, people that feel his government will reward them.
3. Just like tribal bias, Religious bias is real and alive in Nigeria. The majority of the north see even northern Christians not one of them. If it comes to making a choice between obi and tinubu, they will most likely see tinubu as someone they share faith with and one of their own.
4. The movement of governors to APC- this is key. It is Nigerian politics, he who pays the piper largely dictates the tune. The governors have the resources and instrument of state to manipulate the majority of the people(majority are poor financially and in reasoning). Hmmmm.........I agree with everything you said with 98% accuracy. There are only 2 things that I don't agree with you. First of all, obi might be weakened in the South, but if ADC can give him the ticket, trust me, Obi will be stronger than ever, it's then you will see foot soldiers all over Nigeria coming out in troops to support and promote the movement, don't estimate the power of the people and obi knows the right things to say to the people.

Secondly, the governors movements have nothing to do with anything, in fact it has become an unhealthy competition in APC, I can guarantee you they will be too many in-house fightings that will happen in 2027, looking at back at 2023, obi had nobody with him by his side, not even a LGA chairman, and he was able to pull 6.1 million votes, now that he has structures around him, what do you expect his votes turn-out will be? Everything is working out in the favor of obi has we speak. That man is highly blessed.
In-conculsion, the reason why obi lost in 2023 was because he didn't have structures to protect his votes, now he has gotten it ADC, It might will be extremely difficult for Tinubu in 2027, that I can assure you, or can I?.....🤔🤔🤔
