We dropped points last season for many reasons, and honestly, rotation was a very minor one. Rotation isn’t a big issue at all—even during our CWC run, we rotated the squad. We have a very young and promising team that needs rotation. You can’t keep players on the bench for no reason; they need game time to develop. Without minutes, they’ll stagnate.

On top of that, some of our players are very injury-prone. If you keep relying on the same few players just because they’re good and leave others on the bench, it’s only a matter of time before injuries force those benched players in anyway. That’s why rotation is so important—rest some players while giving others opportunities to grow.

Sticking rigidly to one squad, like some people suggest, only makes us overly dependent on certain players. Look at the injury crisis we had with Colwill—it was a huge blow largely because we weren’t rotating.
