What's d essence of the UNITED NATIONS....I guess it's an organization formed by the U.S......invading a sovereign state and capturing the leader shouldn't be a standard the U.S should be setting...we will see more of dis from China and Russia in d coming days

They just captured him like a common criminal. Very easy and simple.

CIA must have infiltrated his government. One of his key allies in government sold him out. That's why it was easy for US to capture him so easily.
It either going to be their defence minister/interior minister/intelligence chief or army chief that sold him out. I am suspecting their defence minister.

First time in my life I’m seeing this. Saddam Hussein would’ve faced this, but the man resisted a lot of US administrations.

Re: Photo Of Captured Venezuelan President, Maduro by BodyCount: 6:16pm On Jan 03
Y'all will continue to be daft and defend impunity at all cost because it has not affected you.
So for your mind now, USA is clean and they're the police of the world?
They can invade any sovereign country that won't have enough strength to fight back, bomb them indiscriminately, and kidnap their leaders indiscriminately?
Can USA dare do this to China or Russia?
DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE THAT USA HAVE KILLED THIS MORNING IN THIS BOMBING?
If this was done to a Muslim country, you people would have been using the narratives of Islamic terrorists, right?
Just as you defended what those terrorists did to Palestinians, but you can cry that Russia is doing genocide to Ukraine...
Don't worry, karma exists... It'll one day be your turn and come to your doorstep.

Better the man got captured than being killed. At last he would be jailed and who knows, another government may come and free him.

Can someone explain how this is different to Putin’s actions in Kyiv?

Captured? I think the words are either kidnapped or abducted.....

Will the Danish Prime Minister be the next person the US takes prisoner in a special military operation? Trump WANTS Greenland.......Shouldn't a plan been in place prior to invading another country without congressional approval?

America don't go to where there's no natural resources.

If have natural resources in greater quantities make sure you have nuclear weapons as a kind of deterrent.

Not really. Trump is currently giving a press conference, describing the dramatic way he was captured. That he built a fortress and was surrounded by a special military unit. Trump hinted at a new weapon that was used to disable everything including electricity and communication, isolating Mudoro and rendering command impossible!
Trump also said US will now be running Venezuela and their massive oil reserves - and Venezuelans are jubilating about it! grin

Trump's Obama Bin laden moment.
Re: Photo Of Captured Venezuelan President, Maduro by Focusmind: 6:19pm On Jan 03
Trump is just trying to form superman and hype the US. The man, Maduro, voluntarily gave himself up. That was the news from the vice president of Venezuela. Maduro voluntarily surrendered but Trump, in his usual way, is using the word, " captured " as if Maduro was taken after a fierce battle. There was no resistance from the Venezuelan armed forces and Maduro was sold out within his own regime.

Must be the Defence Chief or something.
Maybe he already had agreements with the Americans and that was why the US was sounding too confident before the attacks.

And I think they just bombed the home of the Defence Chief just to make it look like he was not into the whole plans.
It was an inside job

This is why Tinubu Political Sagacity is top notch. Donald Trump would have been more forceful with Nigeria if Tinubu listened to the like of Sheik Gumi and some Northerners chest beating US forces will go in body bags.

This is why it is good to at least have a President with a little bit of intelligent, Tinubu would be cooling off in US Jail cell now if he had mistakenly implicated himself that he supported Christian genocide in Nigeria and Nigeria would be experiencing more crisis.

Venezuela military have better assets than Nigeria forces, they have F16 fighter jets and S300 air defense system that Nigeria can only dream of still it only took 2 hours for US Delta Force to captured Maduro.
Sagacity in dust bin...wait till after elections. E go clear for everybody eyes.

What happened in Honduras is likely to work in Nigeria again.
