The correct number is 112 not 122 , the journalists themselves should have corrected him , this is my issue with our current crop of journalists they are as ignorant as the viewer themselves, it's terrible .
You blame the journalists for the mistake of a Rod Safety official?

Pathetic.

Lol.....I agree with you. The journalist should know better than a top FRSC official what the correct emergency number is. The journalist is to be blamed for this error.

What a shameless fellow. At least lower your useless ego and apologize for the network failure.

Anyways the number is correct 122 and it is working when I dialed it.

You and your generation may never be as successful as Rufai that you are insulting.

The work of a journalist is not to sing on your mandate. His work is to ask the hard questions on behalf of we the citizens and he is doing a great job.

It is you that should humble yourself mr know it all.

An FRSC official walks into a studio for interview but you expect a journalist who does not work for FRSC to know the correct FRSC emergency number more than the FRSC man.

Guy are you alright?

I don’t know whether to laugh or just not comment.

I mean, bro, the blame is now on the journalists? Yhu are Kidding me, right?

For someone who brags about sharing flyers all over Abuja with the emergency number to create awareness—and VDM even dialed the number and was shocked to get an immediate response—how is he now making such a mistake ?
He even went on to say we are used to the network saying, “The number yhu have dialed does not exist, please try again.”

Bro, let’s stop making excuses for people like these. Don’t let us make excuses for those who fail daily at the job they were hired and paid to do.

See how easy it is for yhu to just shift the blame, it tells alot about us as Nigerians.

This is exactly why these guys keep messing up—they know no one will hold them accountable, and someone like yhu will defend them, no matter what.
Actually, "...please try again" is a network problem - not directly the fault of FRSC.

But if, indeed, a wrong number was dialed, that's the fault of the FRSC officer. The presenter could have pointed out the error too.

122 is not toll free this is what I used to check if my driver's license is out and it only reachable only on mtn Sim
Urgent1Million:
112 is the general emergency number that connects to police, fire service, ambulance, etc.
The direct toll free number to report road related cases such as accidents and recklessly driving is 122. That is supposed to link directly to the FRSC.

Rufai is nothing yet you left the topic of discussion to insult him. The OP never mentioned Rufai but somehow your envious brain cannot resist the urge to insult Rufai!

You can only wish to be half as famous and successful. Get a life man!

Both numbers are correct bro, Google it, like I said the journalists should be ashamed, the FRSC guy was correct, how can you invite someone to your studio without you doing your due diligence on necessary questions and information about the FRSC work.

APC supporters can type rubbish with confidence

Uncle the correct number is 122. Go and check FRSC website.

A simple search would have saved you from embarrassing your entire lineage online.

You people should take it easy with defending everything government officials do. Have a mind of your own. Patriotism does not mean defending nonsense every time
