Look, if your country is producing cocaine that is destroying my people, and I have the power to stop it by taking control of your country, I would be irresponsible not to act. This doesn’t need to be complicated. If, as president, you cannot control drug production that harms my citizens, then you forfeit your position. If I have the power to remove you, I will. In 1939, Adolph Hiltler also thought Germany was so powerful militarily and scientifically so advanced and started invading all the weak european nations around him to form a new empire. At first it looked like his wish was coming to past as france easily capitulated, then italy then poland all the way to england bearly surviving until Russia and suddenly that dream fell apart. If the US wanted to kill the sale of cocaine business, all the US has to do is to produce cocaine legally. It now sells it to drug users at a rate much cheaper than the drug cartels.

But have you noticed that Venezuelans around the world are happy with what is happening in their country. A drug lord is ruling the country and has turned it into a narco state, the US has been telling him to terminate the business but he has refused hence the military actions.
