Venezuelans Flood Streets As News Spread Of President’s Capture By U.S. (video) by EdonhappenTv(op): 3:12pm On Jan 03
Caracas, Venezuela — Large crowds were seen on the streets of Venezuela’s capital, Caracas, on Tuesday following claims circulating online that the country’s president had been captured by U.S. Delta Force operatives.

Videos shared widely on social media showed people gathering, cheering, and waving flags in several parts of the city. Some posts described the scenes as celebrations linked to reports of the alleged arrest. However, no official confirmation has been issued by the Venezuelan government support these claims.

Government officials in Caracas have so far remained silent on the reports, while U.S. president Trump twitted about it few hours ago confirming the capturing of the president and his wife.

Security observers note that Venezuela has experienced repeated waves of unrest in recent years, fueled by economic hardship, political divisions, and strained relations with the United States. As a result, public reactions to rumors or breaking developments can quickly escalate into mass gatherings.

At the time of filing this report, the situation in Caracas remains fluid, and the accuracy of the claims cannot be independently verified. Authorities are urging the public to rely on official statements and credible news sources for confirmed information.

This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more verified details emerge.

When a leader is good to its people, the citizens will rise to defend their leader in trouble.

Same fate awaits Iran leader......I wonder why this people are too dumb to know that having the people's support can go a long way especially in times of conflicts and not having their support can favour the other side alot.

People just keep shouting that the U.S. wants oil. I once watched a documentary on YouTube about the situation in Venezuela. I cried, and at the same time I was surprised at how calm the citizens remain despite all the suffering.
But the video above is an old video. So this is a fake information.

Even with the large retinue of security personnel causing holdup everywhere guiding our president, if America wants to pick him up, nothing will stop them🤣. That was why Baba humbly went with his tail behind his back to pay homage and humble himself 🤣. Military pass military, china and Russia will always consider their personal interests first, they can only condemn America's actions, but they will never interfere or intervene with America's plan.

This is very funny

Maduro gets kidnapped by a foreign country, opposition parties and others flood the streets in celebration, then videos their are being given attention by global media to aid the claim that Maduro is a bad leader and "the whole country" pleased with it

Same happened with Gadaffi

It's not hard to see why many Nigerians are retarded when it comes to geopolitics.

The Persians have never been a pushover from the days of Tower of Babel till today.
Their country is standing strong, well militarized with crazy military technology to defend itself and attack if absolutely necessary.

I follow architectural pages on Twitter and I get to see marvelous buildings from Iran some times and how clean and beautiful parts of their country is.

Real life is not Hollywood. What happened in Venezuela would have happened in Russia, North Korea, Iran and China if those guys were as weak as Venezuela. Even Cuba wasn't a pushover and alternative methods were tried tens of times to kill Che Guevara but they all failed.

Hope you know Ayatollah is a religious leader and not the president?
Because I addressed the main point but you chose to digress craftily

Besides, in every country with elected leaders like a president, the ruling party are often fine and defensive with the governance while opposition parties are mostly vocally against the regime.

Imagine asking how many Americans are happy with the president's leadership. That's always a subject for debate and any one who wishes to address the question and watches CNN or talk to Democrats will think Trump is the worst, while anyone who makes judgement based on Fox News or talks to Republicans will think Trump is the best.

E.g I saw a CNN documentary during Trump's tariff war with China. They went to typical Republicans who the tariff affected negatively. If I wasn't well informed, or was unintelligent I'd have said "most Americans don't like Trump"

I'll drop my pen here

Still doesn't answer the main question.... America's affairs is in the open for all to see.

In Iran that supreme leader is can't be removed be election or anything.....series of protest upon protests and no pro government protest....one wouldn't need anyone to spell it out for him/her.

Get some education man!

The Supreme Leader is a religious one, not a political one

Pezeshkian has been the sitting elected President of Iran since 2 years ago

If you don't know that Ayatollah isn't the president, you should get some education and stop making judgements based on your flagrant ignorance
