So why then are you making excuses for their official exchange rate given to them by them by the CBN for their planning, budgeting and allocation?

Does the black market affect them?
Are you saying Buhari was right by devaluing the naira and trying to fix the rate?

When you devalue a currency you let it rest at it's true value

During Buhari time which one is the correct rate that someone in the economy without government connections must use? That one is the real rate than any other
Is the state or federal government someone?

We are talking about the government here, so what is your point?

When did the topic leave government and switch to individual?

I'm not here to defend Buhari, what does your question have to do with the topic on ground?

If you are an average citizen, can you use 440 to plan your business? What you can use to plan is the true value of the naira not any phantom CBN rate

Did they ever complain of the exchange rate, please stop this diversion tactic...

Of a Truth Subsidy Was Never Removed, It Was Given Another in The Budget, By This Present APC Government,
LOL...if there was a subsidy, it would not be the old consumption subsides we are used to.

Subsidy has gone (though I don't trust this government enough...so I know it can be brought back)...because if it was still there, prices of fuel would not be fluctuating like this, and would be around N500 or less. Importers would no longer be talking about 'sourcing for forex to import' and so forth.

But crucially, Dangote would be exporting all the petrol he produces to non oil subsidy countries...like all our neighbours for example. Where he would make profit. He won't be selling his petrol here in nigeria atall atall.
