Remember, it's easy to build large structures if you have enough money, but without ways of sustaining them they can easily fail or become dilapidated unless you keep sustaining them in parasitic manner from what other sectors or projects are contributing, to prevent them from becoming dilapidated. To sustain them, they should be profitable/valuable enough to become viable for their continuous maintainance and improvements by private sectors or the state. The amount of contribution the projects bring to the state should be higher than what they recieve for their sustenance. And the contributions shouldn't necessarily be financial, it can come in form of productivity, knowledge and general well-being of the state. So when next you ask the governor to build this or that, help recommend ways to sustain them so that the state does not own structures here and there that take a lot to maintain but contribute little to nothing. |

A New Dawn in Southeast Nigeria: From Neglect to Quality Development In recent years, a significant change has taken place in the governance and development approach of Southeast Nigeria. The governors of the region are now embracing a new mindset, one that prioritizes quality, aesthetics, and lasting impact in public infrastructure. Unlike in the past, when many projects in the Southeast were poorly executed and far below the standards seen in other parts of the country, today’s projects are beginning to reflect modern standards and a vision of excellence. Previously, public buildings, roads, and facilities in the Southeast were often constructed with a "village standard" mentality—shoddy workmanship, poor planning, and a lack of attention to beauty or long-term use. This led to infrastructure that not only looked inferior but also did not serve the people effectively. Many citizens felt that their region was being shortchanged, especially when they compared their facilities to those in other parts of Nigeria. However, the Southeast governors are now proving that the region can deliver world-class projects too. I would rate Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Gov. Alex Otii and Prof. Charles Soludo as the new visionary leaders of the region who have clearly departed from the old mentality of our leaders that anything in the southeast should be sub-standard. We now see government buildings with proper designs, dual-carriage roads built to last, and public spaces thoughtfully planned and landscaped. Landscaping, in particular, has become a noticeable new trend. Green spaces, flowers, street lighting, and decorative features are being used to beautify cities and towns, adding a sense of pride and modernity to the environment. This positive shift shows that the leaders of the Southeast are starting to see infrastructure not just as a necessity but as a reflection of identity and ambition. By building quality projects and making cities beautiful, they are sending a message: the Southeast deserves the best, just like any other part of Nigeria. If this new direction continues, it will not only improve daily life for residents but also attract investment, tourism, and greater respect for the region. The governors are finally showing that development in the Southeast can be both functional and beautiful—and that is a change worth celebrating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hl6-Hu4yqSs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IsScBfV4oA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1HRf2YChBs |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Enugu has been blessed, and her case is different. The blessings and pronouncements that were given her won't be withdrawn, especially for the fact that the governor's excuse was reasonable but he should have trusted that GOD can give him victory wherever he was. Notwistanding, Enugu will become a special case. She will be driven by thesame SPIRIT, and the strange party & their leaders can't take the glory nor stop the pace of progress. If the party intention is evil for the state, it (the party) will be rejected by the people. It's Christian GOD first , then the interest of Enugu and Igbos comes second. This is applicable to other governors who aren't desperate to please the dominant regions or outsiders first before GOD and their people. |

IGBOSON1:$2 billion dollars is beyond Enugu's capacity........even Lagos nor abuja can raise that level of funding on its own! why not start with 50 million dollars.............all raised as an investible fund with an estimated ROI! or better still sell the fund as per treasury bills! |
| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by IgboProgress: 3:21am On Oct 26, 2025 |
Eboofa:2billion dollar is nothing for Enugu, just believe. Many great societies were not as buoyant as Enugu is now before they got to where they are today. It's because they believe. If some believe in their selves and were still able to achieve that little imagine what those who believe in GOD can achieve. With GOD all things are possible |

Congratulations to Ndi Enugu and His Excellency Dr. Peter Mbah on the visionary plan of Enugu Air. As we know, Akanu Ibiam International Airport (Enugu) is the only international airport in Nigeria currently served by just one carrier, Ethiopian Airlines. That limited service means the airport is underutilized and lags behind the other four major international airports in Nigeria. With the launch of Enugu Air, we have a real opportunity to change that. I propose forming a partnership with a European airline via a codeshare or interline agreement (E.g, ITA Airways (Italy), operates out of Rome–Fiumicino (FCO), which is a strategically located hub; ITA has codeshare agreements with several airlines) or Swiss International Air Lines, which could provide connections via Zurich. It also maintains codeshare relationships with many global carriers. Here's how it could work: Outbound (Nigeria → Europe): Nigerian passengers fly Enugu → European hub airport on Enugu Air. From that European hub, they connect onward to other destinations in Europe, North America, Asia, etc., using the partner airline’s network. Inbound (to Enugu): Returning passengers fly from their origin to the European hub with the European partner, and then transfer to Enugu Air for the final leg into Enugu. This model would make travel into and out of Enugu smoother, more attractive, and more convenient. It also aligns with the state’s broader goals: boosting internally generated revenue (IGR), promoting tourism, attracting investment, and positioning Enugu as a tech hub. Securing a strong European partner should be a priority as you scale Enugu Air, and as you consider future expansion to other African regional capitals.

Can we finally agree that Mr. Mba has failed to deliver on his key election promise to provide the city with water?. Yesterday, residents in central Enugu bought 1,000 gallons of water for 24,000 naira. Is this also the dividend of democracy for citizens?. |

christejames:He will finally comeback to his senses. What he needs is prayers, backed up with criticism, whenever he errs. This should make him realize that moving to a party where he thinks his victory in next election is guaranteed (which won't happen if he doesn't perform well) is not an excuse to become layback and unprofitable. The otherside is filled with darkness that can easily put a bright mind to sleep. He needs to connect less with them, if possible, disconnect completely, (never let them distract him from working for his state) and focus on his people who voted him to work for them rather than the other. |

Have you heard or seen this, Portharcourt Seaport and Terminal operated by Ibeto Ibeto Seaport and Terminal video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-psS7kk--Z4 Interviewing Ibeto & others at the Seaport: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9T98HzS6-o To exporters and importers, consider patronizing your own. This is the kind of thing you were asking for, Seaports in Igboland, or Ports mostly for igbo exporters and importers — Ibeto Seaport and Terminal is one of them. This wasn't gotten through violence or much complaining, but by GOD, and paying the ultimate sacrifice of Righteousness. It can easily become the best Seaport, just trust. By the way, I know many of you are too focused on politics, probably thinking you can defeat them on your own. It is almost impossible task but only by GOD can defeating them be possible. However, they will lose, not because you did it, but GOD will do it. This is under one condition though, which will be difficult for them (the ruling party) to fulfill. It was deliberately made difficult so that they will be defeated. Currently they are becoming too confident, and this is also deliberate, to make the opposition doubt their ability to win, and say things like 'only GOD or by miracle can they be defeated" which ofcourse is true, if you understand how the system works... They have been chosen by the system to win, but GOD's Will will prevail. Here is something that may surprise you, you don't really need the Presidency to succeed. If it eventually comes to you, I will advice you say no, or not be too desperate. But if you choose to take it, well, you will understand what it takes to be a leader in a slave system. |

| Re: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by IgboProgress: 7:37am On Jan 31*. Modified: 8:34am On Jan 31 |
Despacito1:This is about the progress of igboland which includes portharcourt. Igbo is an umbrella name for people who speak similar language with people who are predominantly in the south east. If you were talking about the south easterners who are majorly igbos, with mix of minority tribes here and there, that is a different topic for another day. Our agenda is to move igboland forward against all odds, against the expectations and agenda of her enemies roundabout her We are doing this in Port Harcourt too and where igbos are indigenes, not just the southeast...And GOD is with us. Similar thing was done for Russia, Sahel countries, Ethiopia, USA, etc, they cooperated, succeeded and are succeeding. Next is igbo land, and we are facing stiff resistance even from the "igbos". Something like this was never experienced before in places we worked in, except maybe alittle bit in Russia and Mali. Russia for example is fighting to protect the interest of Russia speaking people that used to be Ukrainians. Those people identify with Russia even though they lived in another country. Why not the igbos. Why are you allowing yourself to be divided by those who hate you? |

Message to the Igbos and true Christians in relation to politics, our future agenda, etc... and how to navigate it To the Igbos, especially those of true Christians... in summary, here are things you need to know about our agenda in CHRIST, what to expect, what/who to support, how to behave when confused and the true state of things in Igboland especially the South East and the country of Nigeria, so that you don't follow the wrong path, make mistakes or be too surprised when things start happening as it is written here. First of all, the foundation of our agenda is structured in the manner listed below... whatever you do should be according it, and you won't be disappointed nor be ashamed: *The agenda is built on GOD first (true Christian GOD), and then the igbos, especially those who are true Christain or fear GOD. There is a difference, even though all true Christians are GOD-fearing , there are people who fear GOD but may not be true Christians... They are most likely under GOD mercy/grace until they know and start serving the HIM. These people easily feel guilty of their sins and would want to change for good to avoid the consequences of sins, even though it is difficult to be good always without GOD transforming a person. They are also humble people, which is mainly the reason GOD gives them grace. * Don't curse anyone, bless instead. Blessings could mean asking GOD to open their eyes or not refusing people what is right when they need your help. It is GOD that should be the judge of your offenders especially those who refuse to change. And GOD justice is far more satisfying, and just. But don't rejoice when HE judges harshly. *Support the Igbos who love Christian GOD and igbos. You could aswell support non igbos who love our GOD and Igbos more than Igbos. Correct them when they are not doing it right, but make sure your correction is honest, just and humble. *Don't do politics, it's for snakes and pigs. Just do what is right, according to the foundation mentioned above. *The relative peace and developments in Igboland, esp in three states, are from GOD not technology. Let's always give credit to GOD and support leaders GOD is using to do this. *The "reelection of governors in the south east is based on performance and love for our GOD and Igbos, regardless of party. This also applies to presidential candidates seeking for your supports. Becareful with current President of Nigeria unless he humbles himself and change for good. *There were past and possibly present secret plans against the Igbos. They include bringing you down, genocides, anti progress, etc. The plans happen in secret places, via their juju men and in their minds. We don't want to name anyone to avoid attracting hates to them or promoting choas. Just be very careful who you support. *Becareful of people or so called pastors or priests who try to sell you the wrong people to support. Base your support on the foundation listed above. Thoroughly investigate a candidate past records to see if he/she align with the foundation above and our agenda. *Beware of their divisive tendencies especially through their crafty or hard-to-detect hate. It's their way or political trademark to divide and conquer, don't fall for it... You are usually the target of this. Be united, and love one another. #It's however OK to avoid or seperate yourself from anyone who is a goat( the bad and unrepentant ones) *If you don't know what to support, just simply say "the Will of GOD be done", that's all. It's GOD who choose leaders, nothing we do can stop that from happening. What happens in the future has already been destined and known by GOD even before this world was created. So no need to be too anxious or desperate. GOD bless you. |
