Just take a look at the South Korean student scoring system and you would have a good idea why birth rates are so.

South Korea is giving bonuses for giving birth now. Trump has also considering something like that for the US but he won't say it openly that he wants white women to give birth. The question we should ask is WHY? Why are young people not giving birth or why are they not able to give birth?

Their citizens are only interested in fashion. I haven't seen ppl who care more about their looks than South Koreans. I pity them. U hav a hostile neighbor instead of u to grow ur human capital them dey farm Aura. In the next 30 yrs I doubt if the country will still be in existence.

Na wa o.... It's good that people like you are expressing their opinions but it will be better if your learn from other people's opinion too like now.... Their problem is not to fill school or class room but to replenish their population birth rate is less than a child at 0.75 per family so if they follow your advice in another 20 years the developing country they have "bilateral agreements" with would take over their country.

The solution is to encourage their citizens to give birth more like what China is doing now giving their citizens tax breaks and government paying them and raising the children with the parents etc.... I hope you've learnt to think for others not just yourself

Their universities are affected too. Many university programs have been shutdown for not having students.

It is like the more civilised a society is the more selfish their citizens becomes. Everybody starts pursuing what does not benefit the society, in the name wokeness.

The problem with South Korea is that they have long working hours and kids go through a very competitive education system that sucks the life out of their parents.

Long working hours and ultra competitive education curriculum are the main drivers of the plummeting birth rates.

Nevertheless, couples in advanced countries nowadays don't want too many kids. The max is 2 for most. Even in developing countries, where children enrolment is high, and family planning is encouraged, birth rates have plummeted towards the replacement rate of 2.1 or below.

Nigeria lack of widespread family planning enlightment is why the average woman here is births 4.5 kids.

In the 1960s, Singapore launched "Stop at Two" campaign. This worked incredibly well that by the 1980s, that it reached the target and even went below it.

Today in Singapore, it's about 1.1 children per woman. They too are encouraging more women to have more but they aren't listening.

They're now compelled to bring in loads of foreigners to fill in jobs. 36% of people living in Singapore are foreigners with permanent residence permits.

Countries that are poor, you must have kids or when you get old no one would take care of you. South Korea doesn't have that problem

Also becoming a rich country means costs of childcare go up. Cost of housing goes up. It may be better on ones wallet not to have kids

Finally work hours in south Korea are as crazy as Japan. Wake up at six , work till ten or eleven pm. No time to date or to meet someone. Yes some do. And even when married, no time to procreate
