inoki247:So, is there no "Christian persecution"? Isn't the evidence there based on the released clips of ISIS? So, is there no "white genocide" in South Africa? Isn't the evidence there based on the chants of the South Africans as played in a clip by Trump to the SA president? Come with clean hands. No one will go after you. Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi both had their hands stained with the crimes of their fellow countrymen. So bad that it was their own countrymen that killled them at the end. Among two of them, which one did America take out? I guess you can't mention one. |

P1PrinceKT:Good question. 1. Does Trump have clean hands? Answer: Yes. He does. If his hands were not clean, his system would have arrested and jailed him even before he became the president. In fact, the left forced the system to attempt that, but couldn't succeed. So, his hands are clean. If you have any evidence contrary to this, present it. 2. If he can recently pardoned a drug baron(Juan Orlando Hernández, the former president of Honduras,) why not this one? Why is he too hurry to arrest this one? Answer: The former was not a threat to the United States' security, nor was he of any particular concern to the interests of the United States. The latter was a criminal who pandered to the advice of internet lefties and izlamists, telling him to "align with the BRICS," which he did. And the BRICS presence in the Northern Hemisphere is of grave security concern to the United States. So, even without a dirty hand, he would have been taken out. But this one, he added a dirty hand to his CV, justifying the Americans' extreme actions. Funny enough, all the hardware from China, Iran, and Russia could not save him. China heard about the operation and their Foreign Minister was still in the country, when America struck, and China could not say pimmm but released a Twitter message. ![]() |

And the Oscar goes to trump and madoru, you must be joking if you think this wasn't staged, all this is purely a very big thriller drama, there's no way another country no matter how powerful it is will invade another country no matter how defenseless it is and kidnap a whole president and you think this is real, if that's the case let them invade north Korea and liberate his people, poLIEticians are the worst set of people |

Nwaikpe:1. “Trump has clean hands because the system didn’t jail him” Not accurate ❌ In the U.S., lack of imprisonment does not equal innocence. Trump has been criminally convicted (34 felony counts in New York in 2024), formally arrested and booked (Georgia election-interference case), and held civilly liable for fraud. Immunity rules, appeals, and sentencing discretion explain why jail has not occurred not “clean hands.” The legal record shows proven wrongdoing, not mere allegations. 2. The Hernández pardon does not prove neutrality or security logic. Juan Orlando Hernández was convicted in U.S. court for large-scale cocaine trafficking. Trump’s pardon was legal but widely criticized by U.S. law-enforcement and anti-drug officials as undermining justice Pardons are political powers, not declarations of innocence or threat assessment. 3. BRICS alignment is not grounds for U.S. arrests. There is no evidence the U.S. arrests or “takes out” individuals for aligning with BRICS. U.S. prosecutions require specific statutory crimes (fraud, drugs, terrorism, corruption). Geopolitical alignment alone is not a criminal offense. Note that: The analysis relies on assumptions, not legal facts. The public record contradicts the “clean hands” claim and does not support the BRICS-security justification. |

CyynthiaKiss:Story. If Maduro had done what the US wanted he won't be in trouble. Tinubu is wise to do whatever the US demands to save his neck. The US is a 'moral police' that is not moral itself |

He just learnt from his own mistakes, he should have ask Mexico and Canada who the US is before bluffing and bragging shat he cannot do. That is why it's good to choose ones battle wisely. In another news I suspect that Putin may want to try similar strAtegy I. Ukraine to capture zelensky but he will fail woefully. |

This case is unprecedented and there would be a lot of legal fireworks. A President of a sovereign country has been abducted by the US - That was a blatant violation of an international law. Trump saying they are now in charge and that the US are in the business of selling Venezuela oil has certainly complicated the case. This could be shown as an intent by the defendant counsel. Maduro would be seeking to kill this case on a technical ground while the US would be arguing that he is not the president but a de facto leader. It would get so interesting and it could swing either way. |
| Re: Maduro Heads To Court For Arraignment (photo) by MT: 6:45pm On Jan 05 |
Gerundphrase:If Maduro was a dictator, there are set of tools within the international laws that could address that. It was not for a US govt to unilaterally come to kidnap him. The legality of US action is being debated in the UN right now and the US allies are in a very difficult position to even defend what the US has done. Spanish Foreign Minister even said if we condemned Putin for what he is doing in the Ukraine, we should find the courage to condemn the US action in Venezuela. |

Just like Trump recently pardoned Juan Orlando Hernández, the former president of Honduras on the claim that he was "treated very harshly and unfairly" by the previous administration, another US president (possibly the next) will pardon Nicolas Maduro citing almost the same reasons |

| Re: Maduro Heads To Court For Arraignment (photo) by MT: 7:33pm On Jan 05 |
frog12:Court of law doesn't work that way. Court is premised on facts and the whole world is watching. Facts would win in this case. It is deeper and complex than you trivialise. |

| Re: Maduro Heads To Court For Arraignment (photo) by frog12: 8:28pm On Jan 05 |
he was in charge on Panama like IBB. Saddam Hussein was hanged under US invasion like a rat. you don't know how many sitting presidents America don abduct. please go and sleep ![]() Look at Grenada. MT: |
| Re: Maduro Heads To Court For Arraignment (photo) by MT: 8:57pm On Jan 05 |
frog12:US did not abduct the President of Grenada. They invaded Grenada AFTER the Prime Minister was overthrown and executed by another faction. You are misrepresenting all these events. |
| Re: Maduro Heads To Court For Arraignment (photo) by Gerundphrase: 9:09pm On Jan 05 |
MT:UN can only condemn. There is nothing much they can do. Only USA has the capability to execute the operation of regime change. Mind you, the toppling isn't all about losing election. One thing you should understand about USA is that whatever they do there must be something that has their interests. 1. is curbing drug influx into their country 2. Venezuela has been navigating around sanctions placed on them by selling oil at cheap rate to China, Russia and iran as low as $30 per barrel. These are die hard enemy of USA. So the main reason for the invasion is resource control |
