Mykcool:Nothing special, just take out the LA and plug the cables into an LFP battery. You can buy 12v LFP from https://www.nairaland.com/9ijaprince I have two of his batteries in use rn. One on my fan, the other in a car. |

Tdoctor:In my days of freestyle I use to favour Flames solar panels...but gone are those days...it's tier 1 or nothing. Also I'd rather buy a 6kw 48V Growatt inverter than that Icell inverter. |

mctfopt:I no dey buy o. Na verify I dey so. Someone thinks he got a good deal but I wanted to verify. If you were to rate Flames Electric, what would you give it out of 10 points? Second, what do you think of someone selling a Flames Panel at 60k for used 360W? |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:30am On Jan 06 |
Tdoctor:let's ignore brand name but buying a USED 360w Solar panel at rate of 60,000 naira is either cheap or expensive depending on your location. I could get same easily for less than 50,000 naira (mayBe even 40,000 to 45,000 naira). What matters is it's current state, and if it's even the real thing |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:42am On Jan 06 |
bleexInc:between 625w bifacial vs 620w mono , 625w bifacial would give more no matter how little the difference might be. But except you intends mounting it properly to utilize the Bi feature, just go for the 620w. Even if they're both same quality + price, if your roof top isn't strong enough (most new houses ain't), abeg pity the house and avoid the biFacial except it's a decking + you intends mounting it properly. Without mounting the biFacial properly, you would be paying more for less + other cons. if mounting on carport, then the biFacial would be a better option all things equal |

Bruteality1:Just like I say in Lithium based batteries, for distilled water / electrolytes, you need trust your dealer hence would say just go into a reputable petrol station e.g Mobil and buy from them. There might be other places though |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 9:28am On Jan 06 |
Bruteality1:Harvest it urself via air-conditioning water. Na distilled water be dat. It is far far better that tap water claiming distilled that most of you buy. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 10:53am On Jan 06*. Modified: 11:41am On Jan 06 |
dollarnaira:hopefully said person have Airconditioner to begin with + have necessary clean items + enviroment to do the harvesting. Another option is to create a mini micro distiller so heated water (steam) could condense. At end of the day, except you do it out of play or to sell to others, might just be more profitable to just buy. |

Bruteality1:Rally. If you get from trusted sources. I no too like stress to use AC water |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 1:11pm On Jan 06 |
saxwizard:Stress? To put container under a dripping hose? Nna enh... Una too dey easy to dupe. How do one distinguish between regular water from distilled water? Trust? Hmmm |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 2:09pm On Jan 06 |
dollarnaira:Now you quite understand what I meant when I said except you trust your dealer... Plenty of us no want make the slightest effort, yet when asked to pay, we want to pay almost nothing |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 4:48pm On Jan 06 |
Darey00:You will understand better if you can type the meaning of distilled water in any search engine or AI. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 5:08pm On Jan 06 |
cyif2003:only way to connect all 4pcs of 12v Tubular batteries to a 12v inverter is to connect them all in parallel using a very thick wire, then use another very thick wire to connect them to the 12v inverter. Ensure to have at least a breaker in-between. If I were in your shoes, I would only connect 1 or 2 at a time. Meanwhile, what's the AH value of the individual batteries e.g 100AH, 200AH, 150AH, etc. Also if you wanna act like a techie, you could add a switch that would ensure only 2pcs of batteries are connected at a time hence you could use and charge the batteries while only using at most 2pcs at a time. |
