Osimhen is Super Eagles number 9...his job is to score goals and the team mates are primarily there to play his strengths.

Moreso, this is a Super Eagles that was 3 goals up against Tunisia and almost draw the game.

If these attitudes of too much dressing, and going solo, when your striker is better placed is allowed...e go master them and they are at the crucial stage of the competition...it should not be allowed.

Osimhen may appear to have done too much in the way he reacted...but the fundamental reasons he reacted is key for this team to go far in this tournament.

Saying he has scored two goals na nonsense...score and score more..it may not be Osimhen, it may be Onuachu...play to your striker's strength!

The way people are attacking Osimhen is wrong. Football fans have short memories. Strikers complain when they don’t get service — this has happened to every top forward in history.
Osimhen made clear runs, was free to score, and still didn’t get the pass multiple times. Anyone watching properly could see that. His frustration is justified. Asking to be subbed off doesn’t mean he’s mentally weak — it means he didn’t want to hurt the team.
Stop blaming one player. The problem is poor decision-making in attack, not Osimhen’s passion. Football is played with emotions, not robots.

I've watched a lot of his matches, he overreacts when you don't give him what he wants which is the ball.
Just give him the ball when you are sidelined by an opponent, he's always there, always in the right angles. He's clinical, has good positioning, good ballcontrol,good footwork,he's got pace, he's got shooting accuracy he's a damn good striker.
I saw someone who mentioned that teams don't want him because of his attitude, that's a fact lie. A big fat lie!!

E be like say all of una dey watch football without your senses. Osimhen's outburst was totally justified. Look man, on 2 occasions, failed to pass the ball to Akor, who was in a position to score. Instead, Lookman ignored him and rather chose to score aiming to be the highest goal scorer. Akor, being a junior player, could not shout at Lookman. Osimhen stepped in to warn Lookman. Osimhen's outburst was not that Lookman did not pass to Osimhen. It was that you can't continue to play selfishly. We are a team, relase the ball. But for Lookman"s selfishness, Nigeria could have scored luke 6 goals. Now, after Osimhen warned Lookman, he eventually passed to Akor, who scored that beautiful goal. Osimhen should be praised. He called out his teammate when he wasn't doing the best for the entire team. Those who watch soccer will see that it is part of good sportsmanship. Ribbery has called out Robben in Bayern when Robben kept dribbling and won't pass. Ronaldo has called out Rooney when they played in Man Utd. Just to mention a few. Osimhen is not a coward and there was no need to hide his feelings to the detriment of the team. Make una dey watch soccer with all your 5 senses naah.

Did you watch our first AFCON match in this current tournament, or even in the Tunisia game? Osimhen missed several clean cut chances created by fellow players, did you see anybody verbally attacking and embarrassing him for not passing the ball instead??

It is unprofessional to react that way to a teammate that already gave you two assists in a match that the team is already leading 3:0. I for understand if Lookman had been poor the whole game, but dude was even the best performer in the team before that clash.

Be reminded that Lookman sef na striker like him wey need goals to boost his own confidence. So it was never a crime Lookman made direct attempts at goal, Osimhen should not expect all passes to go to him.
