The Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, Lere Olayinka, has mocked the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Basiru, over interference in Rivers State politics.

In a post on his Facebook page, Olayinka said Basiru, who failed to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket in Osun State, wants to wade into the political tussle in Rivers State.

According to Olayinka, Wike’s influence will secure more votes for President Bola Tinubu in Osun State than Basiru.

He said, “Someone that wanted an APC Governorship ticket, but couldn’t get it.

“Na him wan come another State come help another person.

“In Osun State, Wike’s influence will still give President Tinubu more votes than Ajibola Basiru.

“Wike’s message to Ajibola Basiru is simple.

“Dey your dey, make I dey my dey. No dey do cho cho cho come Rivers. Make he no carry his shoulder enter another man’s territory.

“Politics is local, it is grassroots based.

“In 2023, as a serving Senator and Spokesperson of the Senate, Ajibola Basiru lost his re-election bid.

“You wey no fit win your own election as a serving senator and Senate Spokesperson, na you go come Rivers come help person?

“But make Mr Ajibola Basiru use that shoulder wey him dey carry up and down to bring all parties in Osun State together for President Tinubu, the way Wike has done in Rivers State first.”

That same man generated billions of naira monthly in internally generated revenue. No one checked him. Remember, that same man was an LGA chairman a while ago and a federal minister under another man he currently abhors. The wife of that other man had written a recommendation letter for him and personally introduced him to forces that shaped him, forces he now dares and ridicules.

The same man took up lands from anywhere in the state for a chain of supermarket he owns. He made sure no governmental businesses stood tall. That way if everyone became hungry and he was the only one who shared food, he would serve as the only source of life. Lol

Currently, that same man controls the 23 LGAs in Rivers State and the chairmen are loyal to him. This may translate to him having a share in the billions from the LGAs. When he was governor, he suspended any LGA chairman who coughed when he didn’t permit.

Sowore shared information about this man buying property worth millions of dollars in the name of his spouse and kids. How best do you secure the future than to keep them safer in America?

That same man controls federal law makers in the senate and in the house of representatives. They are attracted to him like bees in a hive.

That same man controls the Rivers State House of Assembly. In a show of shame for Christmas, the men and women of that assembly contributed money to buy him a Toyota salon car. How more do you demonstrate total submission and mental slavery?

As governor, that man moved the Rivers State seat of power to his personal house. He hosted everyone who mattered and showed them his collection of the finest wines. Dude is obsessed with himself!

How can a state of brave and intelligent people allow this one man run around the state bullying people, dancing to it, always setting up microphones and cameras to disrupt the peace? No one from his lineage signed the pact for the creation of the state. Imagine someone did.

When does a people reject their tormentors wholeheartedly? When should a people stand up against brute like their lives depend on it? Would that be when they have been strangled by these excesses or when it is renewed to outlive him through the enthronement of a successor?
