APC REGISTRATION UPDATE

Today, Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu visited his ward, Ward E3 (Premier Ward), Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island to electronically re-register his membership as an All Progressive Congress member in Lagos Island East LCDA.

Mr Governor used the opportunity to encourage all current members to revalidate their membership and encouraged new members to join the party.

People are joining the APC for nothing.
They won't electronically call members to meetings.
Meetings are for inner caucus members only.

But I wish they win a second term of the presidency - the reforms seem to be working, and Hadiza Usman, the policy director, seems to be doing a great job. Oil subsidy removal that we 've been clamouring since the days of President obasanjo is now being implemented.

Though (they say) 2031 is a golden year for some of us, we would see how it pans out without rocking the boat.

In the spirit of fairness and because they are bound to be at a loss as to whom to field in 2031, APC should lose the presidential election that year.

The report says the governor has gone ahead to register, while you and your fellow choir members are busy on social media rehearsing your usual anthem of “rigging! rigging!” Now, pray tell, who exactly is plotting to rig an election between you, armed only with hashtags and noise, and him, who is actually on the ground doing the basics?

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”

While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.

Schools that have adequate classrooms, libraries, playgrounds, labs, toilets etc built with matching federal funds from UBEC that was established 27 years ago by PDP’s Obasanjo/Atiku administration. The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, gave the revelation in her remark at the 2022 edition of the Total School Support Seminar Exhibition (TOSSE) held at Oregun in Ikeja between Thursday and Friday.
