Kano Political Earthquake as State Governor Invites Red Caps to Welcome Ganduje at the Airport

Re: Kano Political Earthquake As State Governor Invites Red Caps To Welcome Ganduje by Richtaiwo(m): 10:15pm On Jan 06
So the famed Kwankwasiyya red-cap brigade is now lining up to honour the arrival of Ganduje? Well, that spectacle may as well be the final nail in the coffin of Kwankwaso’s political career. When your trademark loyalists start paying homage to your arch-rival, the obituary practically writes itself.

As for Tinubu, he operates with a simple philosophy, first, he offers the carrot. If you refuse it, he calmly reminds you that his restraint was never weakness, it was courtesy. He knows exactly when to switch gears.

At this stage, there is no rewind button and no alternate ending. The curtain has fallen. Kwankwaso would do well to accept reality, retreat quietly, and lick his wounds in peace, because the political arena has clearly moved on without him.

In politics no permanent friend and no permanent foe just permanent interest.

Nice summary.
I guess it's time to bow out for the first executive governor, Mallam Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso.
That's how we call him then over 25 years ago as students in Kano as his name is always on radio ringing everywhere.
Tinubu is bringing down old godfathers and raising younger ones. This governor just betrayed Kwankwanso for Tinubu. Kano is settled. WOW , almighty KANO.
Will they still be calling them Kwankwasiya?

Lol. Is this the fake news you are celebrating? Check Thursday's date again, compare with the flyer and see whether your incompetent Agbadorian flyer designer has not rubbed mud on your faces. You are becoming too desperate to have Abba Kabir but Tinubu is apparently smarter than you. He keeps stalling his move while he continues to beg Kwankwaso.

You all are becoming too desperate, it's pathetic to see. The red cap is an insignia of the Kwankwasiyya Movement. Can you still parade the red cap about without the consent nor approval of Kwankwaso, the owner of the movement? That is akin to shaving a man's head in his absence. Tell us the date that Abba will be defecting to the APC. Lessons!

We are going to be here when Ganduje and Barau Jibrin will accompany Abba Yusuf to pick up his APC membership card. Trust me, I’m going to drink your salty tears all day 🤣 grin grin

Or rather I will drink yours. That will not be the win you think it is but I will not explain. We will all learn politics together. But in the meantime, continue to celebrate fake posters. Tinubu will for the umpteenth time sacrifice the political ambition of Barau and Gawuna in a bid to secure his own re-election. What manner of selfishness is that? It can only result to the Wike and Fubara way.

I honestly don’t understand why Obi supporters are like this. Ask them a simple question about their own camp, and suddenly you’re told to “go and find out” about someone else’s business, as if Google is now a political party.

Now I’m expected to announce the date Governor Abba will defect, an event the governor himself hasn’t even settled on yet. Somehow, I’m supposed to have insider information he doesn’t. But ask them just one gentle question about Pitobi, and they’ll insult you so thoroughly you’ll start checking if your ancestors also offended them.

The funniest part? Even if I miraculously conjure a date from thin air, the insults will still follow. The opening line is always predictable: “You people are becoming desperate.” Desperate how, exactly? This is an internal Kano matter involving Abba and Kano people. I don’t know how I got drafted into it, not to mention accused of desperation.

Honestly, the confidence is impressive, facts optional, insults compulsory. Nawao.

I only read the first two paragraphs. If the governor has not decided on a date, why are Agbadorians then celebrating fake flyers with non-existent dates that they conjured. I thought his defection was slated for this past Monday? What changed? Is he developing cold feet? Lessons!

I already know Pitobi supporters don’t read, which is precisely why I don’t bother responding to their mentions. Anything longer than half a page tends to overwhelm them, apparently, comprehension becomes an issue at that point.

Still, I can’t help but marvel at how a simple letter of invitation can trigger such monumental confusion. Honestly, how hard can reading be? Haba! Is life truly this complicated in some quarters, or is effort now considered oppression? What is it that is confusing you in that simple letter?

This is the mood in Kano right now. Lessons.

Why is basic reading comprehension such an Olympic sport for Pitobi supporters? Since when did having loyalists become a crime in politics?

Did anyone see the Kwankwasiyya movement throwing tantrums over Abba? Or are you people genuinely unable to tell the difference between an entire political movement and a handful of personal loyalists? Because at this point, the confusion is no longer funny, it’s clinical.

You people leap from one argument to another swinging between branches of completely different trees, hoping no one notices there’s no logic connecting them. Today it’s one complaint, tomorrow it’s a totally unrelated one, all stitched together with noise and outrage.

Honestly, I don’t have the time, or the patience, for this brand of intellectual gymnastics and recycled nonsense.

Obi supporters are like a proverbial salesman saddled with the unenviable task of selling an unmarketable product

Since they know the unmarketability of their commodity, rather than offering a non-existent selling points, they resort to insults, name-calling and gas lighting.

Politics mad sha. You'll think they're fighting, not knowing that it's because their selfish interest hasn't aligned.

The day they share common interests, you'll be discarded.

If you allow them use your head, na you know.

Ganduje and Abba in the same party.

Elrufai and Aisha in the same party.

This Kano episode is indeed an earthquake, a master-stroke, an icing on the cake !

Indeed, Tinubu is truly a political master-strategist.

No wonder the Vice President, Alhaji Shettima, said sometimes ago that someone that wants to go on a suicide mission will oppose Tinubu in 2027.
I am beginning to see why.

With the SW, SS, NC, NE and especially Rivers, Plateau and Kano sewn up, it's a done deal.

An inside source informed me that Asiwaju is bent on a free and fair elections as a legacy to his name.
Wow !!!
