Jokes aside, I couldn't help but feel bad for the man. He stood up there with tears in his eyes after the match. All of those hours spent standing, hand raised. To add insult to injury, an Algerian player mocked him by imitating him and then 'collapsing'. That was just brutal.

Lumumba-statue has been the supporter of the tournament and at the very least deserves to be nominated for the FIFA The Best Fan Award for this year. I would like to even see him at the World Cup, IF DRC qualifies( I know, I know )
