Nairaland Tribalists: We Won The Battle But We Lost The War by Ahayalift(op):
cry We Won The Battle but We Lost The War
I don't even know where to start, but it is time to put this down for the next Generation to Learn from our Mistake: what we spent our Years online to do.
Let me start from the Conclusion that I later discovered after solid 10 Years of Stupid Tribalism, Nigeria's Problem can never be solved by Tribalism but by True Love not just for your Tribe but for All Humanity.

My downward spiral into becoming the most effective Yoruba online Tribalist began in 2015 on NairaLand here with my former Monika. President Buahri was about contesting against incumbent President Jonathan. I came online here to try to unite Igbos with Yorubas for Jonathan, but got some bad reactions from one or 2 Igbos that said they will never have anything to do with smelly dirty Yorubas, etc. These words from just 2 Persons made me to see all Igbos as Yoruba Haters (I later realized that most Igbos love Yorubas and love Humanity generally). I dropped the efforts of Campaigning for Jonathan, so President Buahri won. Even though President Buahri and wonderful Fualnis have done nothing wrong against me, I joined others to write and say very bad things about them. Looking back now to the days before I became a Tribalist, I can categorically tell the whole World that most Fualnis are very good People. (A Fulani Lt Conel in Abuja that didn't know me from Adam, helped me to make my 1st Million Naira in Life, despite I being a Christian and him a Muslim, he treasured me as his Blood Brother throughout my staying with him). Unfortunately, I later became blinded by Tribalism and Preparation for Tinubu Campaign Era made me to say and write bad things about them when there are many good Fulanis. My eyes has now been opened because my Fulani friend still later helped me despite knowing all I wrote and said against them in the past. I started studying Islam because I was shocked by his Love and forgiveness. Now I'm discovering many good things in Islam even though I'm still a Christian.

Despite that these 2 wonderful Tribes had done nothing whatsoever evil against me, a vicious Tribalist was already born in me back then. So, I joined many other Tribalists from other Tribes that were busy abusing, documenting bad things and casting aspersions on President Buahri throughout his Administration. It is 2026, I've seen it all and would gladly support Fulani Presidency because I know that Food would be surplus for Nigerians and things would not have been expensive as it is now.

Finally, Election came and we Campaigned tirelessly against those of other Tribes for President Tinubu to Win. Yes, he won. Looking back now, I realized that my not Supporting Peter Obi or even another Fulani for President might has been a very great Mistake. We Yoruba online Tribalists(I as their most vicious and stupid king) Won the stupid Tribalism Battle, but we Lost War against Nigerian Dehumanization System, Unproductivity, Stagnating Poverty, and most importantly Directionlessness and Lack of genuine Love and Brotherliness among Yoruba People, and lack of genuine Brotherliness among Nigerians. Winning the War against these Problems were my motivations for becoming hardcore Yoruba Tribalist, yet non of these has ever been solved. In fact they were all just a child's play during Jonathan and Buahri Era.

Looking back now, I so much regretted not supporting Peter Obi for Presidency back then because it was Southern Nigerian turn. Nigerians would have become far better Humane in mindset, love one another better and the Country would have now sincerely been on her way to becoming like Dubai, America and China because People like Charles Soludo and many Great Igbo industrialists would have been working with President Peter Obi. Look at all the Regions of Nigeria, and you will see that Igbo Land is the most evenly Developed part of the Country, ensuring that an Igbo Man becomes President would surely Lead to National Infrastructural Development throughout the Nation.

In conclusion, I want to advise Nigerians not to vote along Tribal Lines in the next Election, vote for those you know would help ALL Nigerians to Enjoy Life, to enjoy the simple basic things of Life as obtainable in all other sensible Nations across the World, and even in African Countries. 24 Hours Electricity is not a Luxury, we that live Abroad can categorically tell you that. And foods should not be Expensive! I Thank CREATOR of Heaven and Earth for giving me 2nd Chance and I will Scream it at the Top of my Voice, Nigerians Vote wisely this time around!

Why not take the message and ignore the messenger?!

Do you think the anti-igbo rhetorics you constantly push on Nairaland will solve any problem in Nigeria?! How far do you think it will help us progress as a nation?! You don't want to change and it is a shame.

Don't mind him, I'm sure he knows my former Monika of those days when he was busy Celebrating my Posts here on NL, they even Copy and Screenshot and share it on Facebook and other Social Media to get other Yorubas into aligning with Yoruba Tribalism. I will spend the rest of my Life to Campaign against Tribalism and to help save the Younger Generations from the Destiny Wasting Trap called Tribalism!

If you really regret what you did, you could have come out with your real moniker so it will be more believable

I myself have not seen people who are as foolish as tribalists especially when they are not the politicians benefitting and feeding fat on it.

You are yoruba because you were born one, igbo because you were born one. Nothing special about that. Dangote is hausa doesn't mean as an hausa, you will not soak garri tonight. Tinubu is yoruba doesn't mean as a yoruba you will not suffer. So why all the stress??
Re: Nairaland Tribalists: We Won The Battle But We Lost The War by Good2go1: 5:10am On Jan 08
Yes, I you have really changed , you can indecate the moniker that you use for the tribal war so that people will know you have change

Another liar with a useless lies to canvass for the agulu failure. You regretted not voting for Obi? If I can ask you, are you currently living in Anambra? Have you lived in Anambra? Are you packing to Anambra to enjoy Obi's legacy?

Why are you concerned about the election?? Well, because you know your APC will definitely rig it right??
Shame on you, are you not concerned about your ignorance at all?? Upon everything that has affected your people the most you still support evil .
Even though APC will vehemently retain power come 2027 it's still a shame to you all tribalistic b¡g⁰ts.

You are still talking like a child you are.

Why asking him if he is living in Anambra state as if he is not a Nigerian?

And besides, the people living in Lagos preferred Obi to Tinubu who you claimed built Lagos from the scratch.

🤣

Yes, we are Nigerians but people that ran away from their region, that always return back home either in a body bag or for burial doesn't have a say over the people that they always run to their region for good life.

A Yoruba woman called Kemi has gone a step further with not only running away from Nigeria but has also been castigating the country and painting it black before the world.

What morality do you have to talk down on people who are going about their business and creating employment?

Please if you are still angry with Peter Obi because the Lagos people helped him to give Tinubu and his supporters a bloody nose in Lagos, kindly calm down and forgive everybody for your own good.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I couldn’t make sense of almost everything you wrote until the last paragraph that I highlighted. I like the last paragraph and I will urge you and others to please support the current effort of President Bola Tinubu to reform and reset all aspect of our lives. He’s the best president we’ve seen in a long time and it will be bad if we don’t allow him to continue his reforms beyond 2027. Let’s rally round him since he’s our best option and give him maximum support in 2027. Let’s all look beyond tribalism and see the good in him. Thanks my anti-tribalism brother.

Jihadists terrorists are Nigeria's problems, we are a tribal people before this contraption was created, nothing bad in tribalism,. especially in a nation like Nigeria where people are being killed by members of a particular ethnic group. Tribalism helps us protect our tribal lands and heritage. We are not one. Stop being naive.

The real question is why you want to sustain the trajectory of tribalism and ethnic strife on Nairaland? What is in it for you Helinues? How are you benefitting from it personally? If it ends, will food be taken away from your table?

Oh, voting for Tinubu is voting along tribal line. So, who should we vote for that has no tribal affiliation? Who is better than Tinubu among all of them?
