otrasane:Clearly so! Fubara has serially raped the Nigerian Constitution violating its provisions with impunity! Fubara has been spending the State Funds without an Appropriation Law in place. Fubara unlawfully and in persecuting the House of Assembly demolished The Rivers State House of Assembly obviously to destabilise them from meeting to impeach him. He is a tyrant! He denies the House of Assembly of funds. Fubara is an Executive Rogue and a serial enemy of the Constitution and democracy. After his impeachment he should be tried and sent to prison if found guilty for demolishing the Rivers State House of Assembly. Fubara is one personality who will be quiet but has enough in the inside of him to kill! |

Fubara, under the veneer of piety, is actually a crook. He is running a one-man show in Rivers State which is against the Constitution. For him to go about spending monies without legislative appropriation is an act of gross misconduct and an impeachable offense. He runs the State without commissioners and other critical officials needed for effective and efficient administration. He singlehandedly withholds salaries and other benefits of the legislative arm of government of the State in a manner depicting vindictiveness. Outwardly, he looks like the one being oppressed whereas he is the oppressor. To his advantage, he attracts public sympathy by playing the victim card. Fubara: you fool some people sometimes but, you can't fool all the people all the time. Beware: your days may be numbered! @hotseat |

[quote author=IGBOPROMISE1 post=138064946]What other agreement could there be besides the one of handing over Rivers state treasury to Wike/quote] Rivers state treasury is not even an issue here . They don't want Fubara back. Majority of the political stakeholders are not in support of him. Same game played out during Ambodes time when the political leaders of the state rejected him My problem with Fubara is that he has poor advisers and he himself is not smart. |

The usual misleading wailers has return to support Fubura instead for them to tell him the truth. How will a Governor be running a State without a Budget, Withholding State assembly funds. From November to December 2025 most states Governor has presented their Budget to the State Assembly but the victim mentality Governor failed to do so. |

G Melagros:APC family that could not give Mr President 20k River state votes in 2023. The junior minister who started all these could not deliver his ward in 2023. How do you think Mr President will sacrifice Wike who delivered him with those political paper-weight?. Fubara is a goner. |

Ironically, it is Fubara that is keeping democracy alive in Rivers state. Wike represents godfatherism and dictatorship. At this point, Fubara has to out-bid Wike for those Assembly members. I know them, just add $50k to whatever he’s giving them and you should be fine. Na Port Harcourt guys. |

APC speaker wants to impeach APC leader and governor of his state? That's not possible...Wike is still the one pushing these guys against a whole governor and I think this time Tinubu should really call Wike to order or deal with Wike himself if he refuses to allow Fubara bcus I see NO reason why a common speaker will be threatening a whole governor of a state. |

Thundafireseun:If you understand the unique nature of godfatherism and politics in Rivers you will realize that even if Wike installed his son in office, all the werey rough fight will still happen. Even that Martin wey dey follow Wike without using his brain will behave worse. Do you know what it is to be Executive Governor of Rivers State?? Even principalities and powers recognize that office! You cant even begin to quantify the powers and resources in that office. Make una no forget say Sim know where all the bodies are buried. Secondly, Wike needs to realize that one day he will no longer be relevant in the scheme of things and after he has "completed" his assignemnt in Abuja, he will retire home to his palatial mansion on Ada George Road....He will age.....he will no longer be relevant in the scheme of things.....and the number of "Oga we came to greet you" will start to reduce...his children will have their own homes and will become visitors in Port harcourt. By the time you become know in the vilage as that old man that like trouble nobody go find you. |

Wetin dey happen for that Rivers State sef?! You start impeachment proceedings and adjourn plenary to another date. Is it to give the embattled governor time to come and crawl and beg with bags of State funds to pacify the bloodthirsty and money-hungry House of assembly members? |

Amawhuele and his colleagues are the real threat to democracy. APC and Tinubu will respond accordingly. |
