Sen. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the running mate to Peter Obi in 2023, has, in an interview to Trust TV, stated that he maintains good relationship with Peter Obi and should Obi fail to get ADC presidential ticket, he should return to Labour Party and he -Datti- would help him get the party’s ticket.

Datti is already the presumptive candidate of the Abure faction and the other faction is loyal to Obi. I Datti is willing to surrender his ticket to Obi, then there should be no issue at all. I guess Datti staying back with Abure is deliberate.
