Man Calls on Wike to Act After Cows Are Spotted Roaming World Trade Centre, Abuja

A Nigerian man has sparked widespread reactions online after a video showed cows roaming freely in front of the World Trade Centre in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory.

In the viral footage, the man and his companions could be heard expressing shock and disbelief at the sight of cattle moving around a location widely regarded as a symbol of modern infrastructure and international business. The World Trade Centre Abuja is known as a high-profile development, making the incident particularly surprising to many viewers.

Public Outrage and Call for Government Action

Reacting to the situation, the man called on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to intervene. He described the scene as embarrassing and unbefitting of a landmark meant to project Nigeria’s image to the global community.

Since the video surfaced online, many Nigerians have shared similar concerns, questioning how livestock could roam freely around such a strategic and highly valued area. Social media users have called for stricter enforcement of environmental sanitation, urban planning regulations, and proper control of livestock movement within the capital city.

Mixed Reactions Online

While some Nigerians expressed outrage and disappointment, others viewed the incident as a reflection of broader challenges facing urban management in the country. A number of commentators argued that the issue highlights the need for better coordination between city authorities, security agencies, and relevant stakeholders to prevent such occurrences in the future.

Despite differing opinions, a common sentiment among viewers is the call for authorities to address the situation promptly to maintain the image and orderliness of Abuja as the nation’s capital.

Video Continues to Trend

The video has continued to gain traction across social media platforms, with many users tagging relevant authorities and urging swift action. As of the time of reporting, no official statement has been released regarding the incident.

The situation has once again brought attention to the importance of effective urban control measures and the responsibility of government agencies to uphold standards in prominent public spaces.

What will it cost the federal government to actually handle this issue of cattle ranching in Nigeria. It doesn't just make sense for cows to be roaming the streets like this. It's an eyesore, imagine cows on the streets of New York or Johannesburg.
Re: Cows Spotted At World Trade Centre, Abuja (Video) by Ofunaofu: 10:25am On Jan 09
Wike has abandoned his Abuja job and moved to Rivers State to fight Fubara.

What has been the roles of the Ministry of Livestock. There should be no other option to ranching. We are not in the stone age for crying out loud.
