Good day. Pls is there any hope of reviving a tubular battery which was used for a while with low water level inside... Water was topped during d salah period but since den dey didn't bother to check d water level.. only for us to find out last week dat d water level was very low?

For such a large bank, you’ll probably need like 3 controllers.
But I don’t think such capacity is a good idea.

NO getting an external charge controller wouldn't disturb the internal one as it stops being used and relies on the external one.

Also if you are just adding extra 1 or 2 or 3 solar panels, so long the max charging current isn't exceeded, just switch to a combination of series and parallel connections and you could continue using the internal one.

The highest PV in 12v I have seen is from hybrid inverter that has 2000w so maybe 5hrs the battery willing be full

Yeh, charging at full Sun with 14.6V and 100Amp should get it full within 6 hours (about 8Kwh). But extra carefulness fit wound you when you consider the wiring and all that.

Charging with NEPA sha...so I did a test on one small 300w charger and was getting about 61% efficiency.

Anybody knows a good 24v charger with better efficiency and pocket friendly?

Edit: ah, it seems it was a momentary experience. I just checked again and I'm getting 86%. But if anybody knows any good charger of up to 1kw capacity please share.

If you use like 50mm from inverter to battery 3yards divide into 1½ lent, it suppose to work na, abi there is another wiring connection I am missing

between 625w bifacial vs 620w mono , 625w bifacial would give more no matter how little the difference might be.

Maybe it is just prejudice on my part but l wont buy anything Electrical/Electronics from Alaba, even if my Life depends on it.


We see Videos of these guys just STAMPING Logo/Label on all manner of imitation/fake Items, to make it look genuine.
They dont even try to hide it any more, they use Lithography or what is that process of imposing image on T-Shirts and Banners, very easy.
The most recent Video l saw, was these guys "branding" some shyte TV with LG Logo, from the Packaging Box, to the TV itself.
It is a recent thing though, because l remember my my brother and i going along with my Mum, to the same Alaba, to buy a Black & White 14" TV, in the late 70's and it was a very good TV that served us very well, until this red-eyed, get-rich-quickly mentality destroyed the honest Business they do in that Market, in those days.

Now, if anyone one have the ability to produce anything, whether it is TV or Solar Panels, that is fine, just put your own Logo, Name, Label on it, dont try to use the Branding of others on yours, because it indicates that the producer does not trust his own Product and wants to make money off the Branding of others,

This sort of fakery and imitation, kills innovation and actually exposes Buyers to all manners of danger.
Imagine having to use an imitation Break Pad, imitation Engine Oil, imitation/fake Drugs for a sick Child?
Now, it is imitation Panels that give you 200W, when you think it is 500W!
That can have grave implication for Safety and we should all condemn it, assist Government to stamp it out.

Produce your own Products, put your own name on it and it will be your own GENUINE Product.

I nor they do advert sir, I started my 12v with one 220ah tabular battery 3years ago, it was from this thread I gain all the knowledge I have today abt solar, I have never had any usage experience of lithium lifepo4 battery until just last week I bought 50ah wattccycle battery from jumia, am only sharing my experience couple with the review of wattccycle battery on YouTube, their battery is cheap and is always more than the stated capacity unlike many other cheap brand when nor reach watin they write for label
