Does it mean that pastors have nothing to offer to the society other than prayer?

And by the way, what is prayer?
Prayer is simply requesting God to do something.

But if your prayer is not realistic like the Lord's prayer (our father, who is in heaven.....), are you not scamming yourself like that?

You want pastor to pray for you so that you become rich overnight, and pastor says i will help you do it, is that pastor not a scam?

We have done all we could to present the one and only true Christian group to you people so if you can't sleep because false prophets are cashing out that's your own problem.

There is nothing you can do to stop the works of the devil if you refuse to work with God's people you will continue to nurture this animosity helplessly.

The only way forward is to present the organization that's teaching the truth but even that one you hate with passion due to the things these same pastors you are criticizing infused in your head!😟

The problem with black congregations today is an advancement of the confusion of two religious cultures coming together. It is not limited to Christianity alone.
As a black man, you have been taught by your culture to have one babalawo who takes care of your spiritual and health needs. Everything African is spiritual. You fortify yourself against real and imaginary enemies. You need one Baba to do charms to sell in the market, to give something to pass exams, magical pens and all that.
This is why many pastors and ministries are 'returning' to their background as seen in prayer patterns, carrying sacrifices, and cultures into marital issues.

Then outstanding people become deities. Almost all so to say idols (orishá) in Yoruba land like Shango, Ogun, Obatala, Oduduwa, Èṣù etc were human beings deified. If it were those days, Awolowo would be a deity. Somewhere in Africa, a masquerade with the head of Mandela was made.

It is now very difficult to change that mentality. Big pastors see themselves as small gods, prophets parade themselves as special people, some with strange carriage. About 90% of African Christians don't study the Bible. It is even worse in Islam.

In all these, prayer still works, our own confusion cannot discredit the Bible.

Pray without creasing to the God that answers without tiring .

God has given us everything we need to conquer this earth, praying to God doesn’t do anything. Outcomes will always be outcome whether you pray or not. Well, it depends? Not the whole world is praying to the same God. Peoples in different climes have different gods and different approaches to reach them. I am a Christian, I believe in the Christian God. The development and influence of Christianity is felt today all over the world. Even at that, there was no time everyone place was totally Christian in the Christian 4 domain. The early church fathers and preachers prayed their nations to greatness. Most notable giants in any field that have advanced the quality of life were either devoted Christian or thinkers within Christian folks who challenged dogmas.
Prayer is not only a personal affair for individual"s gains but also corporate, and have long time effects. In the developed world, their fathers paid generational price in prayers and devotion. The decadence we see today is as a result of devotional decay and neglect of corporate prayer.

Africa is at a crossroads of history and religion. Christianity is preaching advancement, Islam is preaching enslavement. It is unfortunate that these two religions with opposing views are battling for supremacy in northern hemisphere of Africa.
Real prayers that can change things positively are not being said to the correct God.

I never knew US soldiers were in Burkina Faso. I hope your claims are true about America creating terror groups. Why didn't they create the group with their Christian brothers or Honduras or Buddhists or any other religions?

There is a political market called politics, everybody goes there to buy and sell to their gains. What is driving Islamic nation's to kill for recognition is driving America to amass power, dame China, Japan, North Korea.

How does prayer works?

There are two types of prayers:

Public or general this involves the one offering a prayer and others inclusive in the request made before God. 1Kings 8:22-30; John 17:20-22

Personal or private this involves only the one praying as he is alone while talking to God. Matthew 6:5-8

How does the public prayers work back then in ancient Israel among the people of God and among Christians in the first century?

That should be the focus but saying that prayers are unnecessary is the height of faithlessness! Hebrews 11:6 🙂
