The dynamics has changed, it's no longer 12 million votes. It's (6.1+6.9=13.0), (13.0÷2=6.5)
That's 6.5 million votes for ADC provided Atiku doesn't run for the presidency And Obi is given the presidential ticket. And Tinubu has grown stronger than ever(8.5÷1.5=5.7), that's 5.7 million votes for APC.

So before the elections start
APC - 5.7 million votes
ADC - 6.5 million votes

APC is in power, that's 5.7 × 3 = 17.1 Million votes
ADC is in opposition, that's 6.5 × 1.5 = 9.8 Million votes.
