Today nah Cameroun Coach know say dem miss the experience of battle hardened old men the Coach chase away from the squad -Thomas Nkulu ,Toko Ekambi & Idriss Abubakar , Ngadeu- Ngajeu.
Two defensive mistakes costs them the match.
Physicality & high pressing of the Moroccans unsettled the camerounians.

The ref today 4 /10,like he was working with a script.
Officiating toh bad gaan.

He was hacked down in the Morroco 18 yards box but the referee thought otherwise....not even a VAR check!!
Overall, the Moroccans have outplayed Cameroon but the officiating has also been largely in their favor!
I saw a report that CAF officials are protesting level of officiating at this tournament.

I'm not really following this tournament but I've heard morocco is highly favored in their games

The ref is biased against Cameroon. That was a clear yellow card
From the beginning of the game the referee was biased.

If you notice the morrocans dramatically were throwing themselves on the ground and he gave them fowls leading to the first goal.

But when the Cameroonians were strongly tackled, he did not lift an eyebrow

So we will just give thwm breathing space while they will deny us and just beat us as you claim. Well that is not the focus now. We have a big test with Algeria. If we scale through we shall see how this Morrocan will just not give us breathing apace.
judewrites:
This morroco team will definitely win the afcon judging by this match.

They didn't give Cameroon breathing space and bossed the game.

I wonder how the super eagles will play them if we beat Algeria.

Omo true. But the game was too speedy.. Those Moroccans were just too fast abeg.

Reminds me of the Europa final between Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta. Speed was almost everything

I agree with you...they played below part especially in the first half but you can't deny all the BIASED calls against them by the referee last night..itcalso contributed to reshaping the outcome

In the 80s and 90s...SPEED & ANTICS were the traditional weapon of most North African teams.
They still deploy those two tactics against a team that lives to build slowly from the back...but if you weather them and score a couple of goals they pipr down...if not drag them to the extra time and they will gas out!
They don't usually last effectively more than 80 minutes playing high frequency football

You're very Observant ..true, 2 DEFENSIVE ERROS actually cost Cameroon 🇨🇲.
On both occasions the defenders were either balk watching or allowed the Morrocan space and all the time to take touches before shooting at goal unchallenged! That second goal na im pain me pass the first sef

A cat predicted Algeria to win Nigeria same cat also predicted Senegal and Morocco to win Mali and Cameroon respectively

Nigeria team doesn't fare better against North Africans in football

I don't see Nigeria winning after watching the rubbish Cameroon played . I was thinking is Manchester United Vs Morocco last night

Such abysmal performance
Watching cartoon would have been preferable last night

I don't know why some members here think Morocco is being helped. You don't think about referees who don't award penalties to Morocco or give red cards to opponents. You just see something and react in a double-edged sword. Morocco is being helped. Morocco isn't being helped at all. Morocco is the best and will also beat Nigeria if they beat Algeria, and I hope so. What are Afcon opponents like if you finished fourth in the World Cup? We fear no one in Africa. We are number one in Africa.
