franchasofficia:You talking rubbish. Big brands have a name to protect they use quality materials and well tested. They pay heavy tax. and and also fine if they produce rubbish. Their prices are higher I know that and the reason they have a warranty. But those generic are not of the same qualities. Not the same firmware and panel. If you have change a phone screen before you will see the difference from the original follow come screen. Why using LG brand. Instead they could have use their own name. |

Why don’t they use Pamasonic or Soni cartoon? The new balance, Dior that they sell in turkey, do they brand them with Gucci cartoon? You guys won’t advice una self now. If people stop buying from you guys tomorrow, you’ll claim it’s Igbo hatred.. Anything fake in SW, una days are numbered.. |

I doubt generic televisions are programmed with LG firmware. I know someone who had a damaged remote, he got another remote from from LG Office. The remote didn't worked with his television, whereas it worked on mine. About your generic television, which is working well, does it enjoy LG support? For how long can you update it online? I am not saying that some generic products don't serve. I won't buy them on purpose. I buy all my LG products directly from Fouani. When buying Thermocool, I call their office directly, asking for the contact of their agent when buying outside Lagos. Some companies have shops on Jumia. You can buy LG products directly on their app, it's called Colors. josielewa: |

franchasofficia:Most Nigerians are ignorant, they just sit in theirs houses and run their mouth. They won't travel they won't read to enlighten themselves. The polo shirts and other luxury clothes I bought in Turkey when I got back to mainland Europe and went to work my colleagues thought I got an inheritance or something ![]() |

franchasofficia:Those first few commentators should be ignored. Bigotry, tribalism is in their blood and the way they spread and support propaganda of this evil government and its leaders is second to none. They lack understanding and are zombies of the APC regime. So, listen to them with a bucket of salt, not a pinch. |

madridguy:self hatred is the worst thing that can happen to a man. mental and intellectual dwarfism are evident when a grown man willingly makes himself a slave to others. Are you a member of Tinubu's family? Are you a patriot? Are you one with integrity? The answers to the three posers are: no. Your tribal pettiness has caused you irrecoverable psychic wounds to the point where you're now behaving completely irrational |

madridguy:But this has finally hit the front page so seun.can now breathe. This is highly condemnable. I was a victim myself. I bought a 50 inch fake JVC at alaba in 2022. The moment I saw it in one of the leading online shops in Nigeria,.I thought it was the same JVC I used to know while overseas so I jumped at it. It didnt last up to 6 months before it began having issues. I reported the issue to them and they gave me the address of the vendor to contact. The vendor was at alaba so i took it there. They gave me a new one while i dropped the faulty one. It didn't last up to 1 year before it began displaying blurry lines. Now, its just at one corner of my house like a dummy. I had bought a Samsung ac for my wife's shop in the past which didn't last up to 1yr. Going to the authorised electronics dealers is the way out. I don't want to mention names here. They're all over Allen avenue in ikeja and in major cities nationwide. I've had my peace since I discovered them. However, I wouldn't want us to criminalise a particular tribe here. Every tribe does this fraud but in different dimensions and forms. Just a few weeks ago, some.guys were arrested in osun, ibadan and lagos cos they were found with thousands of fake USD notes. Google it. Their names are Akingbola Omotayo, Adeola Ogunrinde, Yahaya Amodu, Kubratu Olaita and co. As you know me here,I'd never join the tribal train, laye! I remember what happened in Ikorodu a few years back, in which a man was found with drugs in a massive way. Today, the case is dead. Now let me ask you, where would you send these ones who are amongst our people to...sambisa forest? These aren't ibos that you can send to the south east oo. The lasting solution is getting leadership right. We all pretend not to know this. As long as we keep voting wrongly, and out of tribal sentiments,do not expect any changes because most of these criminals are friends to all these bad leaders and politicians. That's what's giving them the courage to do crime. Who born them during the military era? They'd not live to see the next 24hrs after they're picked. |

Flangelo12:It's not fake They get another brand and print LG on it Like, bebex go do upgrade for one car like Mercedes Benz s400 and turn it to 2026 s800 and sell it for the price of that s800,you get the point? Or take Toyota spider 2009 model, fix am to Mercedes and sell it as Mercedes products |

See as they are rationalising nonsense. Why not brand your name on it , you are taking advantage of an established brand |
| Re: Alaba Boys Printing Fake “LG” Logo On Televisions (Video) by franchasofficia: 10:01am On Jan 10 |
fineboynl:You are also correct....but then, copy/replica/counterfeit still exist in the markets of all nations including European, British, Canadian and American markets, that's my point. China and other countries catching up with technology today started from copying and are still heavily copying known brands, so let's not make it look like its a tribal stuff, its global....maybe because Igbos travel a lot and are more business inclined than other Nigerian tribes, they get to learn these unethical business practices from traveling the world in search of opportunities, which they then bring to Nigeria...if we had a one nation with united front, what our government should do is to help them start recreating those things here and maybe using our own indigenous brand names to promote them within Africa till we perfect our craft and start exporting to the rest of the world ![]() |

Economic illiterates won't know that is how China started. Instead of helping them grow into something big and original, our government will crush them and loose the talent. China won't destroy their own. |
