Meet Prof. Jin Li of Fudan University, Shanghai, one of China's leading geneticists.

He and his multinational team of genetic scientists embarked on a lab project to prove that the Chinese originated independently with no external ancestry. They took over 12,000 DNA samples from across China and East Asia.

Only for the lab results to show, to the astonishment of the scientists, that ALL the Chinese were descended from ancient Black African settlers.

I may not support the evolution from monkeys theory, but I believe everything began here in Africa before spreading to the rest of the world.

The emphasis on 4 distinct spoken tonalities, and the nuance of pronunciation that underpin the Mandarin Chinese language, are analogous to the tonality of African languages like Yoruba and Middle-Belt Agatu dialect in Nigeria.

Perhaps Chinese and African brains are wired similarly at least in part due to shared genealogical ancestry.

I guess they will not be happy with this historical revelation made possible by molecular science and DNA technology..

This is why we Scientists have to be careful the kind of research we do with genetic tools and methodology.

The results may be revolutionary and disturbing at the same, especially when it is at variance with centuries-held belief and recorded history..

There are many cases where these anthropological DNA investigations are not allowed to happen until communities are counselled on the potential social and historical revolution it might cause to their long held belief system.

People may even lose claims to lands where their ancestors have lived for thousands of years, when result of these investigations are revealed.

A lot names from Plateau state sound Chinese. I am sure there's a link between the 2 peoples. There are also Japanese names that are used in Edo like Azuwa, Osato, Edo...There's a lot about history we are unaware of
