A woman, dressed in a traditional masquerade costume, reportedly collapsed and died while entertaining traditional residents at a public gathering in the Wellington Community area of Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The incident occurred while the woman was dancing to the sound of a locally beaten drum as part of a community entertainment event. It was reported that the masquerade performer suddenly collapsed in the middle of the performance, bringing the gathering to an abrupt halt.

Residents at the scene immediately attempted to assist her, but she was later confirmed dead.

He suffocated in the masquerade. While he was choking, he could have taken away the pride and unmask himself. He sadly suffocated to death.
