If VDM had not gone to Morocco to for the AFCON he would never have met them!
Yet we have an administration where a president is approving billions for the renovation of VP house!

I believe that programe was cancelled in 2024 for new people, the old ones there were sorted out up till 2024 and arrangement was made for them to be back in Nigeria to continue their school. They abandoned themselves there nobody did. Despite their not wanting to come back home, the FG still promised to sort them out (just that they are not priorities).

As for the AFCON, I don't know what business the government has in paying match bonus of the players that the NFF cannot do from all the money they are collecting from FIFA. If government want to audit their account or appoint chairman for them that is when they will cry to FIFA that government is interfering, that we should be banned. But to finance the team they will be asking the same government for money to meet their obligations. No be juju be that? How many top European countries are their governments paying players bonuses?

Alright. Now that you have assumed you know all that transpired between the ministry and the students. Can you show evidence of contract the FG signed with the students or the letters issued to them? Even if you want to argue blindly try to do it with some kind of sense. The person doing the sponsoring issued a statement, yet you said they are doing damage control.

I just told you I don't have evidence beyond what the owner of the scholarship said. You are the one that now need to make some sense of your talking here and there. Let me break it down for you so you can go look for evidence to support your blind argument since I can't get provide any evidence for you other than what the ministry in charge of the whole matter said:

1. Who is in charge of the scholarship. FG
2. Who has been accused of abandoning students FG
3. Who has come out to say the programe has been discontinued and students have been told to indicate to come home FG

Even when we were in school with Shell Scholarship that was supposed to be for 3 years then, some schools got for only 1 year while some schools got for the 3 years. Somebody giving you scholarship can discontinue it at any time, and you can't force the money from his pocket. From your mumble jumble can you show me where they your students accepted the offer and they were not sorted out. At least you have made effort to see that offers were made to them to come back since the programe will not be renewed.

You can clearly see from what you pasted there (that's if you read it anyway) the same thing I've been pushing in your face that the programe has been discontinued, Yes or No? The FG has offered to bring those remaining back, Yes or No, The FG said they will still take care of the remaining people in the program if they choose to stay but no priority now (they were sorted out till 2024) only 2025 have not been paid Yes or No?

If you have been a beneficiary of Scholarship before or you remotely know anyone even in the place you people call saner climes, you will know that there can be delays for whatever reasons in fulfilling the obligations. You that knows what transpired can you provide the evidence of what transpired? I just told you I don't know. Now bring your evidence of what transpired you started doing copy and paste google search for me. I thought you would produce a document you signed with the students since you are the one financing the scholarship. I never knew you will still come back to the same statement of FG that you accused of doing damage control.
