Algeria won't see a single goal in this match. They're so poor so far. Abi na we make them poor. Our back four are solid. I like how they fight for the ball when we lose possession
And u said it ooo, no single shot on target for them

This is the spirit we have always wanted from the super eagles. Nice touches.

I love how they understand not to relax at the back or take the ball back. That's where most team fails.

Nigerian be sincere if this officiating is the opposite ah swear Nigerian will be calling the Ref head
what is wrong with the officiating? Was it the ref that stopped Algeria from registering a single shot on target? Was it the ref that made ball possession to be overwhelmingly dominated by Nigeria? Nigeria was even denied what some person would argue was a goal in the first half and you don't hear us whining about it.

Optimism is good, but reality is the best..
The same reality the Algeria team came to this match with; they have been better in our H2H historically. So you know it's not about reality.

All goals were clearly scored. I hope you know the ref refused to check that goal attempt by Bassey in the first half. ?

If Nigeria play their semi-final match against Morocco with this level of hunger and organized game flow, they are surely winning!

Yes, Morocco is the host and their fans will be chanting to high heavens but I believe Nigeria can scale through.
Re: Nigeria Vs Algeria: AFCON Quarter-Finals (2 - 0) On 10th January 2026 by Kalulu44: 7:24pm On Jan 10
First of all: Up Super Eagles. I have said it before that semi final and final in nations cup is a birth right of our eagles. It's only lifting it that's our problem.
Now let me answer many people views on so many issues concerning the Eagles and our world cup failure.
I'm hearing many people blame Finidi for our world cup qualifying woes. And then I asked if these so call people were in Pluto when Super Eagles drew their first two matches of the world cup qualifying campaign under Jose Peseiro. Yes Finidi too worsen it, but under Eric Chelle we still have many opportunities to have qualify. If they Super Eagles were serious the way they are now, they have no reason drawing Zimbabwe at home and South Africa away under Eric Chelle.
Ok, they bungle that and was giving a lifeline via the play offs. I guess it was Finidi that made Congo DR outplayed and out muscle us.
Yes some of the coaches have some percentage of blame. But the majority of the blame to me goes to the players. If they were hungry as they were now during the qualifiers, they would have top that group and qualify with two matches to go.
.
And lastly for those insulting many people on here bcus of Osimhen. Let me put it straight, Osimhen is our player and we are proud of him. But if he likes score hundred of goals from now on for the eagles, it can not excuse what he did in the last match against Mozambique. Let's call a spade a spade, what he did is bad and there's no sugar coating it.
Majority of former Eagles players said the same thing on different radio stations.
Has Osimhen attain the legendary status of players like Kane, Lewandoski, Halaand, Mbappe to mention but a few in their national teams and clubsides. And you see them behave the way Osimhen behave.
Halaand for example may be in a match both for City and Norway and won't touch the ball for ten minutes, but you will never see him throw tantrums at his team mates for not passing to him.
Osimhen is a human asset to the Eagles, but asset without character and attitude is bad and let's call it what it's and not all this insults to those who didn't support his attitude.
Thank you all and Up Super Eagles once again

You can't tell bro. They are going to play with hunger and dodgedness knowing they are the host nation and we have had so many clean run.

I repeat it's not going to be easy. Super eagles should double down on that day.
It is true. The Morocco/Cameroon match that I watched yesterday the Moroccan were determined to win from the start, and they obviously outplayed Cameroon to the end.

But they are beatable.

Congratulations to the Super Eagles..

We have discovered Onyemaechi at the left back. Good job..

However, Frank Onyeka was making too many mistakes.

Akor Adams should sharpen his attack skills, he is too slow and has heavy legs.. grin

Great Game.
Nigeria has demonstrated that they really deserve to represent Africa at the world cup. DRC should be worried by now.

Hope FIFA will be honest enough to do justice to our petition, which indeed is valid.

Why are you replying his hateful rant against Osimhen? You are making him important by doing so. Is he even worthy to tie Osimhen's boots.

What more can I say?
What more can I type?

For 90 mins, Algerians did not register a shot on target,

These Eagles have turned Marakech to Akwa Ibom - The Moroccans should be genuinely worried.

Unstoppable train is about to meet an immovable object. Giran for a reason grin grin

Fare well, our Super Eagles.
Bruv this akwa Ibom reference hits a massive throw back for me because I was there live. Lol... Dang it you know ball. Hopefully the eagles will sower into champions no more no less .
