When a colonial minded president confused everyone by reverting to colonial anthem you won't blame them.
Spot on. I misread you for a minute. The previous anthem is purely Nigerian by Nigerians.

I believe he should be able to, because it's the one they sang in their own days.
My dad, before his passing, sing it once in a while.
With time, they will adjust.
When Obasanjo changed it too in the seventies, that was how people find it difficult adjusting on time. But everybody eventually adapted.

Were some Algerian players not quiet during theirs? May we not learn to focus on minor things.
all our players were quiet bro. You missed the point. Changing an anthem after many years of independence is not really necessary lol

The deed is done. The truth is that nearly everyone is not interested in learning the lyrics of the New-Old anthem.

I don't know it beyond the in "brotherhood we stand"line that I was taught as a kid.

The important thing is that na minor issue.

The generation of Super Eagles that will master the national anthem has not come.
It was hard for my mother to master "Arise O Compatriots" until it was changed recently.

Gradually, nursery and primary school pupils can't even remember "Arise O Compatriots" anymore.

Change is a constant thing in life.
