It is possible that quite a few of our less than well-informed Nairaland discussion respondents have no idea how powerful the magnification is on the surveillance cameras of drones and satellites. Those spy satellite and drone cameras can read the brand name written on a discarded packet of cigarettes lying on the ground in a remote Sambisa Forest outlaw encampment, even while the airborne observation platform is thousands of feet above the ground, and far out of earshot.

For strategic and tactical reasons, the US military has evidently decided to keep all details of their Christmas 2025 precision missile strikes in northern Nigeria OUT of the public realm, which is fine by me, so long as terrorists are being exterminated like so many cockroaches by those missiles. A dead terrorist remains dead regardless of whether onlookers see the roasted body or not, so one can only look forward to more of the same bombardment .
