When we said the whole backline isn't good enough ,some people were shouting that it's the formation of the former gaffer..how e dey be now , otu players
The problem is that United can no longer attract talent. No one wants to go there except for ridiculous wages far beyond what they can offer. A vicious downward cycle.

ManU problem na players first before coach. Even if Dem bring jorgen klopp or guardiola,I doubt if they will not struggle with these set of players.

Let me try and profile such a gaffer.
* Highly competent technician that can turn water to wine, practically.
* An old hand that has seen it all and done it all that temporary setbacks will not bring undue management pressure.
* A manager that has won enough trophies to see long term development first rather than quick fixes towards silverware or league positions.
* A manager that understands the demands of the Premiership.
* A manager that will relegate the present technical director and head of recruitment and instead use his extensive contacts with clubs, players and agents to optimize the squad while managing the declining finances.

Unfortunately the three possibilities are almost like mirages.

Pep will almost certainly not cross over to the red half in this lifetime.
Carlo is almost certainly retiring after this year's world cup.
Klopp is unlikely going to ever manage an English club side again.

Finished, rudderless club. Hope they have a proper coach for the Man City game and not the guy who needs Ferguson's permission to wipe his backside.

Under this ownership and management, Klopp and the other great names you listed will not succeed!

Cleansing the foundation and rot will take nothing less than 5 years... No Jokes.

There can be no quick magical fixes.

Amorim might have made some headway, but impatient fans and the same visionless owners have now succeeded in setting the club several years back into the rot.

It's a circus now. grin

Angelfrost:
Well, to be fair... Fletcher really has nothing to lose at this point.

He is merely standing in for the interim coach, which should be either Ole or Carrick.

The board thought sacking Amorim for voicing out his frustrations will change things... Lol.

Things are about to get really interesting going forward. cool
Honestly speaking
