Hmmm! You really made a valid point there and that's nothing but the honest truth.
So what is needed since the club is no longer attractive to high quality talent is to get a world class gaffer who certain capable players are willing to play and die for. Do a total house cleaning and get a new squad.

Now, because of FFP this may take many years but this is the only way and the price to pay for misadventure over the past decade and a half since Sir Alex retired.

It will take time.
This is what the United management and the fans have to accept. For sustainable progress to levels of the late 90's and early 2000's they need to be ultra patient. Get the right person and stick with him.

Let me try and profile such a gaffer.
* Highly competent technician that can turn water to wine, practically.
* An old hand that has seen it all and done it all that temporary setbacks will not bring undue management pressure.
* A manager that has won enough trophies to see long term development first rather than quick fixes towards silverware or league positions.
* A manager that understands the demands of the Premiership.
* A manager that will relegate the present technical director and head of recruitment and instead use his extensive contacts with clubs, players and agents to optimize the squad while managing the declining finances.

Unfortunately the three possibilities are almost like mirages.

Pep will almost certainly not cross over to the red half in this lifetime.
Carlo is almost certainly retiring after this year's world cup.
Klopp is unlikely going to ever manage an English club side again.
What of Mourinho?

You're the one saying rubbish. Cunha is not a sham and I can bet anything that if cunha was in a better club, he'd be world class. That is the same story with players that your club chases away. They become good at other clubs. Do you know why? It's cos those clubs have very good trainers and hire top staff to sharpen the skills of players. They also don't play politics with coaches like your nonsense club. Now you are accusing cunha again. There's nobody you people cannot accuse. Cunha was the same player at wolves giving your club endless sleepless nights last season but now he is your problem. Go and tell your club to get top trainers to develop players. Have you not noticed that players in your team have stopped developing since Ferguson left? Or didn't you see the complaints of Ronaldo before he left for Saudi? Even if Guardiola or klopp comes to United, nothing would change until the club is ready to do the right thing

Man Utd players are overrated. They are below average and don't deserve playing for this club.

The same Hojlund you guys dragged all over the place, abi another one?!!

Even Rashford was not spared by you United fans.

Maybe your memory is short or you just enjoy going in circles with your clueless owners.

What next?!! Maybe start blaming the young Keeper and wondering why Onana was removed.

You want to rebuild and push into number one with one lean transfer market... How na?!!

Before McTominay was sold, you called him all manner of names too.

Man United owners and most of you fans are the main headaches of that dying club.

I am sure folks that were in positions of authority since then and till now (if there are any) will regret how that episode turned out.

That is why I am saying they have to get a gaffer in that class and stick to him. Honestly I cannot see any other way out.

There are a few young managers coming through with great talent and fresh ideas, but the problem is clout. Can they stand up to the vagrancies of the United top hats...

You are still missing the point...!

Let me spell it out in capitals:

THERE IS NO RIGHT PERSON!!!

There will never ever be!

There is only a right approach... And that remains TIME!

This was what Amorim already started doing, but as usual, they chose the idiot route and scuttled the process...!

Now, they are back in the vicious cycle.

The problem is that United can no longer attract talent. No one wants to go there except for ridiculous wages far beyond what they can offer. A vicious downward cycle.
They can definitely still attract talents just not the established ones and of a truth, they would be better off signing towing the arsenal template if they are serious.. Arsenal may not have won major trophies but we all can see the massive progress and if they don't bottle it ,at least, one major title awaits them at the end of the season ...

Mourinho’s case was players’ attitude, including Pogba and Rashford then.
New Lee managers will come, buy their players and want to make them world class, so they start playing them, even when they are below Academy players.

U are just saying nonsense.bo one wanted hojlund gone.i for one never did.he would have been much better had he gotten enough supply of assists from the players around him and the formation.in the number of games he olayed alongside de bruyne,we all saw him shine.
I was glad rashford left cus to me he wasnt really committed after signing a new deal, but for cunha to be seen as an upgrade to rashford is a crime.you delusional supporters still living on past glories i stead of facing the reality on ground led amorin on with the nonsense formation and inability to adapt to circumstances.cunha,dorgu,sesko.u were given 250million euros and u bought im shitty players and urr asking for more without justifying it on the field
